Years ago when the counterfeit and fake steroids started to ruin the industry. We made the buyers aware of that fact and we started to teach the members via  the messageboards to check the available information on the product and the boxes and leaflets.

What is a license, lets take Sustanon from Organon in the Netherlands as an example. Sustanon is a brand name for a combination of four different estrifications of testosterone. It was meant as a medicine for men with low endogenous (made by their own body) testosterone . Thus mostly older men. These men had to come to their doctor for frequent injections. Not really convenient for both. Thats why scientist started to prolong the effect from testosterone by adding an estrification. Because HRT (hormone replacement therapy) aimed on a balanced bloodserum value without to much peaks, they made that mix of different esters. It was a big succes througout the world and many countries wanted to use this drug for its male population. The brandname Sustanon, Sostanon and Sustenon where used in different countries. Contracters made this product cheaper locally. Bodybuilders know the mythical names like Karachi Sustanon (made by Abbot laboratories) and NILE Sustanon from Egypt. They made the exact formulation and quality that the original company(called license holder) used as standard and They where also allowed to use the brandname.

Methasterone is an oral anabolic steroid that was never marketed through legitimate channels for medicinal purposes. It was brought to market, instead, in a clandestine fashion as a "designer steroid.”

The synthesis of methasterone is first mentioned in the literature in 1956 in connection with research conducted by Syntex Corporation in order to discover a compound with anti-tumor properties.[1] This initial mention is elaborated upon in a 1959 research journal article, where its method of synthesis is discussed in greater detail, its tumor inhibiting properties are verified, and it is noted as being a “potent orally active anabolic agent exhibiting only weak androgenic activity.”[2] The results of subsequent assays to determine methasterone’s anabolic and androgenic activity were published in Vida’s Androgens and Anabolic Agents, a dated but still standard reference, where it was noted that methasterone possessed the oral bioavailability of methyl-testosterone while being 400% as anabolic and 20% as androgenic, yielding a Q-ratio (also known as an anabolic to androgenic ratio) of 20, which is considered very high.[3]

I want to catagorise some known and unknown influencing factors on the half-life and potency of injected steroids.

Many factors determen the effect of a active componenet solved in an oily depot. That is the oily carrier itself, the preservative that is used to protect the oily injectable against bacteria and fungus. Then sometimes a solvent and a co-solvent is used, these solvents are also responsible for the viscosity and syringability. Meaning? The viscosity (thickness) of the oily injectable comes from the oily carrier, the solvent mostly benzyl benzoate and some co-solvents such as Ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, gauiacol and co-solvents such as Ethyl Oleate.

A few of our members asked to post some analytical reports. There are a few ways to analyse a product in this case its fully analysed. They looked for water (Karl Fisher) mostly present if the API (active pharmaceutical ingredient aka raw powders) is not stored properly. The Ph (accidity) mostly due to unpure powders. The identity (if the compound is the compound labeled) in this case does the sample contain drostenolone propionate. The dose (the amount of active ingredients per milliliter). The heavy metals (those can build up in the body) We thought that most API's from India and China would possess a high content of metals -acids etc. That was the  main reason to analyse Underground laboratories.

 Bacteriostatic Water for Injection, USP is a sterile, nonpyrogenic preparation of water for injection containing 0.9% (9 mg/mL) of benzyl alcohol added as a bacteriostatic preservative, ie. Bacteriostatic water is sterile water which contains a bacteriostatic preservative

 Sterile Water for Injection, USP is a sterile, nonpyrogenic preparation of water for injection, which contains no bacteriostat, antimicrobial agent or added buffer. (Nonpyrogenic - will not cause fever)

 Sterile water and Bacteriostatic Water are made in special laboratories and are often used as a diluent for injections.
