Methasterone is an oral anabolic steroid that was never marketed through legitimate channels for medicinal purposes. It was brought to market, instead, in a clandestine fashion as a "designer steroid.”

The synthesis of methasterone is first mentioned in the literature in 1956 in connection with research conducted by Syntex Corporation in order to discover a compound with anti-tumor properties.[1] This initial mention is elaborated upon in a 1959 research journal article, where its method of synthesis is discussed in greater detail, its tumor inhibiting properties are verified, and it is noted as being a “potent orally active anabolic agent exhibiting only weak androgenic activity.”[2] The results of subsequent assays to determine methasterone’s anabolic and androgenic activity were published in Vida’s Androgens and Anabolic Agents, a dated but still standard reference, where it was noted that methasterone possessed the oral bioavailability of methyl-testosterone while being 400% as anabolic and 20% as androgenic, yielding a Q-ratio (also known as an anabolic to androgenic ratio) of 20, which is considered very high.[3]


 

A Few Case Reports

A 37 year old professional athlete arrived in my office complaining of low testosterone symptoms of low libido, erectile dysfunction, chronic fatigue, and mood disorder.  He admitted to anabolic steroid abuse in the past, and now sought medical intervention to "restore his testosterone to normal."   A few years ago, he had married and fathered a child, and he now wanted to devote more time to his family, but complained of a lack of energy to do so.  He also wanted to preserve fertility, as he wanted more children.  Previous medical doctor's lab studies showed low testosterone levels, all below 300 ng/dl, and low FSH and LH levels as well

After our usual workup, and the obvious diagnosis of hyopogonadal hypogonadism, treatment was started with HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), an LH analog which stimulates testicular testosterone production.  The patient wished to retain fertility which contra-indicated the use of Testosterone preparations.

While not a question normally asked at a social gathering, flavonoids have become quite a hot topic in the media and in scientific journals.

Flavonoids help protect plants by shielding them from environmental toxins and helping repair damage. When we consume plant-based foods rich in flavonoids, it appears that we also benefit from this “antioxidant” power. Antioxidants are believed to help the body's cells resist damage caused by free radicals that are formed by normal bodily processes such as breathing and from environmental contaminants like cigarette smoke. Synergism

We all know that some steroids increase each others effect, hence cycles and stacks.

Like arnold said “If you can’t grow on Deca and Dianabol, you can’t grow on anything”. We all know injectables and orals combine great. Still I know a lot of athletes that only use injectables. 

An interesting study:

If you look at the effect of steroids on the level of the muscle cell, then steroids differ more from each other than scientists thought. We came to this conclusion after German researchers have done experiments with genetically altered cells.

The German researchers modified cells from hamsters. In the genetic material of those cells they added new genes, causing the cells to produce androgen receptors (proteins where androgens should dock to start an effect) . If an androgen docks to the androgen receptor, it promotes a signal to three different genetic switches in the genetic material of cells. These switches are called 'Promoters'. When a receptor activated a promoter, then the cell produced a fluorescent protein. The more protein, the more powerful the androgenic signal was.

Metribolone is an extremely powerfull steroid, some experts even call it monstreous. It is hard ro buy the real products and API's. Mostly because its not only extremely potent, but also extremely expensive. Underground manufacturers that don't have direct contact with an manufacturer of these powders and don't have the ability to analyse them will end up with a substitution or a very underdosed product. You see in increasing amount of both orals (sold as Oral Tren or Oral Parabolan) aswel as injectables. Scientific research showed that subQ injected "oral steroids"  where a minimum tenfold more potent then the oral version.

In the area of pro-hormones there was a methyldienolone product on the supplement market. That of course disapeared with all other pro-hormones.

 Methyltrienolone is essentially the same compound as trenbolone that has gone under 17 alpha alkylation so that it can remain active after oral administration. So in a basic sense, methyltrienolone offers all of the advantages of trenbolone with the added bonus of being orally active. However, that extra benefit comes with a hefty price when it comes to hepatoxicity as will be demonstrated below.

Full Body Compound Work-out

Numerous studies have indicated that weight training exercises that recruit large muscle masses (i.e. the compound exercises) result in the largest anabolic hormonal response by the body. The proportions of anabolic hormones (mainly growth hormone and testosterone) secreted are thought to be functions of factors such as total muscle mass recuited, exercise intensity, rep count and rest between sets - with lower rep sets and longer breaks between them favoring testosterone release and higher rep sets and shorter breaks between them favoring growth hormone (hGH). The more total muscle mass involved, the higher the hormone levels rise. For this reason, Squats will cause a greater hormonal response than Bench Presses.

These are exercises that involve more than one major muscle and involve the movement of move than one joint. Examples would be Squats, Bent-Over Rows, Bench Presses, Military Presses, and so on. The collective experience of generations of weight trainers teaches that these are the most effective movements for producing gains in strength and muscle size.

These are exercises like squats, deadlifts, bench presses, chins, dips and rows. They cause a release of a lot more anabolic hormones than isolation exercises like concentration curls, cable crossovers, leg extensions, etc. Consequently, they cause a lot more muscular growth.

Compound exercises are recommended on and off cycles. They are strength building exercises. when off the anabolic steroids they can increase your output of testosterone and growth hormones naturally. That’s why Old School Bodybuilders used this trainings regimen.

The  dead lift for example hits just about every muscle in your body. So it strengthens all the muscles it hits. The importance of it while on a cycle is because the steroids will increase the strength of a muscle. While on the anabolic steroids the strength increases so fast tendons and ligaments find it hard to catch up because there are virtually no blood vessels in them. To do a compound exercise it hits also the stabilizing muscles around the major muscles and it turn helps take stress off the tendons and ligaments. It practacly strengthen the exercised muscles and all surrounding muscles used to stabilise the body when by example standing up when dead-lifting.

Nitric oxide (NO) has a vasodilating effect on muscle tissue that is very similar to what occurs in the genital region when one takes Viagra or Cialis.

"Vasodilating" means that the body responds to nitric oxide by opening the veins, arteries and capillaries like little flood gates. The Bodybuilding supplement Industry launched their own NO boosters, like "NO Explode," "Nytric EFX" and "Satur8" - advertised as preworkout vasodilators. Many experts doubt their effect.

 

The average person thinks of the damage of aging as an inevitable process of wear and tear.   However, if wear and tear were the primary cause of aging in humans, a 60 year-old should have only twice the signs of aging as a 30 year-old.

Why do most 30-year-olds show few effects of aging, while the effects of aging are so obvious in a 60 year-old person?   If wear and tear were the major cause of aging, a 90-year-old person would only have 3 times as much aging damage as a 30-year-old.

At the age of 30, people have spent most of their lives with fairly high levels of human growth hormone (HGH).   HGH is responsible for growth during childhood -- and for the repair and regeneration of human tissue throughout our lives.   By the time we reach the age of 30, our HGH levels are only about 20 percent of their peak levels during childhood, and after the age of 30, they continue to decline at about 12 to 15 percent per decade, and often much more.   By the time most of us are 30 years old, our bodies no longer produce enough HGH to repair all of the damage that is occurring in our bodies.   As our HGH levels continue to decline, the damage that we call aging continues to accelerate.

The decline in HGH is not the only cause of the manifestations of aging.   Even if our HGH levels remained at the level of a 25 year-old, we would continue to experience the effects of aging, but those effects would be greatly reduced until we reached a very advanced age.   HGH does not affect the root cause of aging, as measured by maximum lifespan, but it can certainly affect many of the manifestations of aging.

By increasing the levels of HGH in our bodies, we can slow, or even reverse, many of the manifestations of aging.   It must be done carefully, though, and under medical supervision.   Ideally, this HGH replacement should begin at about the age of 30 years, but HGH replacement can be beneficial at any age above 30.   In fact, for older people, HGH therapy can reverse the manifestations of aging by 5 to 15 years or more.   There is no other single therapy currently available that can have the impact on the aging body that HGH can have.
