Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of Steroid Esters in Oil Vehicle:

Effects of Ester, Injection Site, and Injection Volume

Variations in side-chain ester chemistry are important in the pharmacokinetics of androgen esters in oil vehicle. In humans, the very short propionate (three-carbon aliphatic) ester of testosterone has distinctly shorter duration of action than esters with longer (seven- or eight-carbon) side-chains. More subtle changes in side-chain ester structure have proven ineffective in altering human clinical pharmacokinetics, because substitution of a linear aliphatic side-chain of seven carbons (enanthate) with either a saturated, cyclized, seven-carbon aliphatic chain (cyclohexanecarboxylate) or a linear, aliphatic, eight-carbon chain (cypionate) resulted in virtually unchanged kinetics. If, on bodybuilding fora people start to discuss steroids and cops, emotions come up. Like here on our own JM forum: //juicedmuscle.com/showthread.php?5877-Old-Vid-of-ROnnie-Coleman-at-work-...

What I read on a forum seemed right to me: " Some people are nice, some people are assholes, some assholes become cops!! "

Or as Victor Conte said:"I think overall, it's kind of like alcohol,"  "If you're a jerk when you're sober, you're going to be more of a jerk when you're using."
Conte also said about the psychological effects of steroids -- including mood swings and so-called "'roid rage" -- are often overblown and can depend on how much of the drug is used. The same is true for the other side effects such as liver damage, depression and high blood pressure.

A woman asked our help in the forum:

//juicedmuscle.com/showthread.php?4768-Bad-Peptide-Reaction-on-Stomach

"I need your help....has anyone ever experienced the following reaction or know anyone that has??
Three months ago I pinned HGH frag #177-191 all around my bellybutton and within a week, the fat/tissue was swollen and almost hard to the touch. I never experienced a fever, redness, burning or itching so the doc said "no infection". Recently someone suggested that I try a therapeutic ultrasound machine along with the graston technique. I am seeing a chiropractor and he is treating me with these techniques every other day...in hopes to break up the tissue so my body will naturally absorb it.

I have seen the following doctors - general surgeon, doctor, plastic surgeon, chiropractor and dermatologist so far without any true answers. I have tried Keflex, and am about to start my 2nd round of Prednisone. The Prednisone has softned the hard tissue but the dougnut shape is still there. If anyone knows what this is and how it can be treated please let me know. I really am desperate to get this issue fixed ASAP w/out plastic surgery."

This thread covered many aspects of  topical treatment thats why I thought I could help you guys and gals by posting it on the blog where it stays better available then in in the discussionforum.

Do you really need bodybuilding supplements, or are they just a waste of good money?

I’m afraid that what you just discovered is probably discovered every day by countless bodybuilders and fitness buffs who are hoping to get an edge at the gym by downing expensive shakes, powders and pills.

Just browse the myriad of bodybuilding supplement discussion boards out there and you’ll find plenty of mixed opinions on whether supplements actually result in better performance at the gym. Some people swear by them, others shrug their shoulders and say all supplements give you is really expensive pee.

I guess we all owe Jamie Oliver a big juicy ‘thank’, for being the only one in the world able to persuade McDonald’s to change their burger recipe.

McDonald’s said this week that it was no longer using the controversial ground beef additive known as “pink slime” in its hamburger recipe. Taco Bell and Burger King have also reportedly repudiated the “slime,” which consists of spare beef trimmings that have been treated with ammonium hydroxide to make them safe and at least semi-palatable.Its not for the first time we covered fastfoods quality on Juiced by example here:  //juicedmuscle.com/jmblog/taxonomy/term/47/all

Geranium oils do not contain the stimulant DMAA-MHA, according to new research that once again questions the study often cited by pre-workout and weight loss supplements claiming it does.

Geranium. Not a DMAA-MHA source, researchers have concluded. This makes a ban of synthetic DMAA logical. This supplement seem to work well as a supplementation in fatloss appetite surpression, pre-workout booster and also as a "herbal XTC".

After an analysis of the Chinese study (Ping et al), along with geranium oils, DMAA (1,3 dimethylamylamine)-MHA (methylhexanamine) ingredients and four supplements containing them, the researchers concluded the labelling practice was a “marketing ploy”.

The researchers, led by Angelo Lisi from the National Measurement Institute in Australia, also said the status of another “doping agent” called a and b-phenethylamine needed investigating.

Class action more pressure against DMAA

The regulatory status and safety of DMAA, a stimulant used in sports and weight loss supplements and reported by some to be a natural constituent of geranium oil, has been challenged again.

There is an ongoing debate about whether DMAA (1,3-Dimethyl-amylamine - also known as methyl-hexaneamine or MHA), which was first manufactured synthetically by drug giant Eli Lily in the 1940s, is in fact a constituent of geranium, with the consensus growing that it is not. Health Canada recently issued a statement arguing that DMAA is not found naturally in geranium (as many supplement makers using it claim) and affirming that any products containing it require a drug authorization.

On the net you can find information provided by the DEA and Thai LE, about how great they are and how dangerous the means produced by the suspects are to human health. But is it true? Of course not!!

Increase your testosterone level

Testosterone.  Test. The Big T. Whatever you call it, as a bodybuilder, you need more of it in your system. The equation is unfortunately simple — if your body isn’t releasing an adequate amount of T, you flat out won’t grow. Now the good news. By manipulating your training and diet, you can naturally escalate your levels of this anabolic male hormone. Intrigued? If you call yourself a bodybuilder, you’d better be.

UNLEASH THE BEAST - A natural increase in your testosterone levels can have a dramatic impact on your ability to add muscle mass, improving your physique through several different mechanisms: by stimulating protein synthesis, it helps to increase muscle mass; by encouraging fat cells to store less fat and pull more from storage, it promotes fat loss; and by enhancing the firing of motor nerves that supply muscle fibers, it immediately increases muscle strength.

Mesterolone has within our sport many purposes and its use and effect is debated and dicussed in many threads. What lots of bodybuilders don't realise is that the usage of all means is dependant, let me explain.

When you use a gram of testosterone you have a big chance that it will convert to a more aggressive and harsher compound, namely DHT. You most likely use un anti-estrogen like Arimidex.

When on the other hand you use a gram of nandrolone, this will convert into a milder compound (DHN) by the same enzym (5-alpha-reductase). Use of Arimidex etc is useless and you should use Nolvadex and…proviron to prevent the side-effect we call in slang “deca-dick” which is a loss in libido.

Also hotly debated is Provirons use in PCT-HRT-bridging. PCT (post cycle therapy) is meant to avoid a crash after you stop using steroids.

Bridging is the use of certain means some bodybuilders take between 2 cycles.
