Though most of our readers are to young to suffer from age relatedprostate problems, a unhealthy prostate can damage not only the sexualperformance but also the bladder and peeing. Man entering their forties may start to find this article interesting, just like bodybuilders that are using anabolic/androgenic steroids (AAS).  Most bodybuilders juicing, are using means like HCG to prevent there testicles from crimping,  anti-aromatase to prevent their steroids from aromatising and silymarin to protect their liver. The prostate, an other organ that is effected by side effects of AAS use, is somewhat neglected.

A Comprehensive Look at Lab Tests
by Cy Willson

You just had some blood work done, and the friggin' doctor or his nurses are
guarding the results as if they're state secrets. However, after much cajoling
and explaining that you'd like to at least be an informed partner in your own
goshdarn health care, they begrudgingly give you a copy of your lab tests.

Trouble is, as much as you've been posturing about how you've had more than a
smattering of medical education, you still can't figure out what half the tests
are for and whether or not those abnormal values are anything to worry about.

Well, in the following article, I'm going to go over each of the most common
tests. I'll include why it's performed, what it tells you, and what the typical
ranges are for normal humans. That way, you'll have something more to go on in
assessing your health other than your family doctor saying, "Well, these few
values are a little worrisome, but you'll probably be okay."

One note, though, before I get started. The values I'll be listing are merely
averages and the ranges may vary slightly from laboratory to laboratory. Also,
if there's only one range given, it applies to both men and women.

Smoking pot

For years, the therapeutic benefits of cannabinoids for a variety of indications have been studied all over the world. Key drawbacks inhibiting wide clinical use of the active ingredients used to be smoking as the primary form of application, dosage issues (leading to side effects), low bioavailability, variations in quality due to unknown origin of the plants, purity of extracts (plant extracts can hold numerous other compounds other than the active ingredient itself) and limited shelf life of extracts at room temperatures. Namisol® is the world’s first oral tablet that contains pure, natural Δ9-THC (dronabinol) in fixed dosages with high, predictable bioavailability and a long, stable shelf life at room temperature. In a few years it will probably be possible to take a pil and have all the benefits of  marihuanan without smoking it, some will like it, but most of us will miss the romance of preparing the joint and then enjoying the smoke

In the Netherlands patients can get a medical prescription to buy Marihuana in the coffeshops at reduced prices or receive medical quality marihuana for medical purposes, mostly pain releif and to enable them a good sleep.

Echo Pharmaceuticals, has joined forces with the University Medical Center (UMC) St. Radboud in a consortium to expand and pursue further development of the cannabinoid-based tablet Namisol®.

Bodybuilding and Sex,

Are these two connected, then? Yes, and this decisively. Our sexual impulses are directly steered by our sex hormones  the same hormones that are commonly used in bodybuilding, have a massive influence on our body and mind and our lust,  this is also characterized by changes on our sex organs, something that women a suffer more, but more on that later.

Disproportionately muscular men and women generally attract more attention from both men and women. Not to long ago, bodybuilding was the sport of gay men. "Real men do not do such thing" and "they are not strong, their muscles are not real". In many gay magazines were and are naked bodybuilders depicted, especially in U.S. where this topic is much more controversial and these topics are not nearly as open as Europe . Olympian Tony P. was a very popular model, mostly because he was heavy shaped, also from Arnold Schw. You can effortlessly find nude pictures on the internet. Not long ago, a Dutch bodybuilding magazine published an article about "Arnold prostitute". Yet it was Arnold who made our sport widely accepted, right? Many wealthy American gays sponsor bodybuilders and are accompanied by them and have sex with them and pay them, of course, a lot of money, because all these hormones are very expensive. The murdered Gianni Versace, was such an example. Many of us remember that television commercial equivalent, with Ed van Amsterdam ... "a little strange, but nice" ...

The effect of high doses of  AAS on the genitals and the use of HCG and HMG to protect and restore atrophy

What follows is a subject not often discussed and controversial. I’ll describe a situation most of you will partly or completely be familiar with.

After a long winter you tan on a sun-kissed beach. Some perfectly shaped beautiful girls keep a close eye on your ripped muscular body. The result of a winter of heavy work-outs an a good diet plan. And lets face it, a good cycle. You decide to give the ladies a better view and  walk into the sea. You walk in like a God. When you walk out, the wet trunks show painfully clear that your male pride shrunk by at least fifty percent. The cold water caused your genitals to shrink, sounds familiar, right?

What cold water caused, can also be caused by the use/abuse of to many androgens or during or after a wrong designed cycle and PCT. Your testicals shrink, but not only that, your scrotum shrinks too and your balls retract into your groin. Your dick feels cold and even thinner and smaller. Your libido is dead and when you do come-off, your ejaculate volume is less then it used to be and sometimes is even painful. This is mostly accompanied with growth of your prostate that makes you feel like you constantly need to urinate. And when you did, it feels like you still have to pee and afterwards are still dripping. It looks like reversed puberty. Or worse you're getting OOOLD!!smiley

Should I go to the gym when I’m sick?

Who doesn’t catch a little cold right in the middle of the week when your workouts were going so great? There’s been many times that my workouts were 100% the best I’ve ever had and right when I was on top of my game – I caught some cold bug and it frustrated me to no end!

How many times have you asked yourself this question or been asked yourself?

“I was wondering if workouts (cardio, weightlifting or both) should be halted during a common cold or if you should “sweat it out” as some say.

Common sense tells me that the body should fully recover before engaging in an intense workout, but is a light day or a less intense cardio day okay?

On one hand you don’t want to break progress by waiting too long between workouts, yet on the other hand, you don’t want to remain sick because the body will have to allocate nutrition in building muscle tissue as opposed to building an immune response.”

 DMSO (Dimethyl sulfoxide)

History

Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) was first synthesized in 1866 by the Russian scientist Dr. Alexander Saytzeff, who reported his findings in a German chemistry journal in 1867. From there DMSO languished unnoticed in obscurity for 81 years! After World War II, chemists began to take note of the remarkable versatility of DMSO. DMSO is basically a solvent made from the sap of trees (woodpulp). They noticed it could dissolve almost anything and carry it in solution.

In the 1960s, medical research with DMSO showed it could not only dissolve substances, but it could also penetrate human skin and carry the dissolved substances along with it! This is remarkable, because human skin is impenetrable to most substances.

Hcg For The Treatment Of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia

 INTRODUCTION: ENDOGENOUS & EXOGENOUS hCG

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, or hCG, is perhaps best known as either a fertility drug used to facilitate ovulation, or as an agent used by bodybuilders during or after a cycle of anabolic steroids (AAS) to help maintain or restore testicular function. It is well known that anabolic steroids suppress the hypothalamic-pituitary-testicular axis, preventing testicular Leydig cells from producing the body’s normal complement of testosterone, and leading to what is generally a temporary, reversible testicular shrinkage. The goal of the AAS using athlete or bodybuilder is to bring natural testosterone production back up to normal as quickly as possible after a steroid cycle, so as to maintain strength and size gains made during the cycle, and to avoid sexual dysfunction associated with low testosterone levels.

HCG is not produced in males; rather it is a hormone of human pregnancy secreted by cells of the fetal placenta shortly after the implantation of a fertilized ovum in the female womb. The hCG thus produced causes the female body to produce copious amounts of progesterone and estrogen. The high levels of progesterone maintain the function and growth of the endometrium, preventing menstruation. Clearly if menstruation were to occur, the pregnancy would be terminated. Thus hCG is critical for maintaining pregnancy.

HCG is capable of carrying out these functions because it is structurally similar to the naturally produced hormone LH, or luteinizing hormone. Similar enough in fact that it binds strongly to the body’s LH receptor, mimicking the actions of LH. During the normal menstrual cycle LH secreted by the pituitary ultimately leads to the maintenance of the endometrium. However if pregnancy fails to occur, LH levels decline during the cycle and the endometrium degenerates, leading to menstruation.

The Positive Effects of Testosterone on the Heart
by Doug Kalman MS, RD

Steroids will cause your kidneys to implode, your heart to blow a ventricle, and your liver to squirt out of your arse, fly across the room, and knock the cat off the futon. We read it on the Internet and saw an after school special about it, so it must be true, right?

Actually, the more you learn about steroids, the more you come to realize that, like all drugs, there’s a difference between their intelligent use and outright abuse. In this article, Doug Kalman takes a look at the effects of Testosterone on the heart. What he found may surprise you.

Over the years we’ve all heard the repeated mantra that anabolic steroids are bad for the heart. Some physicians will tell you that gear raises your risk of heart disease by lowering your good cholesterol (HDL) and raising your bad cholesterol (LDL). In fact, as some docs will tell you, steroids are known to even induce cardiac hypertrophy (enlargement of the heart). And since you can’t flex your heart in an effort to woo women, who’d want that?

But, as in every story, there’s more than one side. In fact, let it be said, the dangers of steroids are overstated and, hold onto your seats, may even be good for the heart. Let’s examine some of the scientific studies on the positive effects of Testosterone on the heart.

Undoubtedly, many people are crazy about soft drinks. By soft drinks I mean not just the bottled or the canned colas we normally call soft drinks but even iced tea and all other artificially colored, flavored, and carbonated soda drinks in the market. Some people believe they are going healthier when they take ice tea instead of cola. Well you are wrong folks. Iced tea is just as damaging and addicting. Have you noticed how it has been hooking you? Whether you admit or not…you are already addicted to iced tea just as others are addicted to the common cola or soda.

I've seen many who have been almost (or shall I say actually) addicted to soft drinks. Their meal will not be complete without a bottle of cola or a pitcher of iced tea. Soft drinks boost their appetite and make their meal more enjoyable. Well perhaps some are ignorant about the harmful effects of soft drinks but many I supposed are just unmindful. They are ignoring the truth because the bad side effects of this unhealthy habit have yet to be felt. While there are those who are not really aware of the bad effects, there are however many who know but do not really care. They are not bothered by the fact that soft drinks are nothing but plain and simple junks. They simply ignore the fact that soft drinks have very high phosphate content and yet zero in calcium. So what health benefits do we gain from drinking these? Nothing! Sadly though, many people kept drinking soft drinks despite having known that eventually this habit will lead to poor bone mineralization, hypertension, and kidney damage.
