This what was posted on a few weblogs. Is this new to me? ..naah.. It happens, but was more or less new to me, was the reactions on the bodybuilding fora. But first the news how it was posted on the web.

Andrew Johnson, a personal trainer at the Fitness First gym in York, died unexpectedly at the age of 34 years old on February 22, 2015. An inquest determined that he died of a heart attack that resulted from a massive infection in his heart. In the absence of any other obvious causes, the use of anabolic steroids was the only thing left to blame.

Beta-blockers are a class of medications prescribed to block the effects of adrenaline, a hormone produced by the adrenal glands. They help the heart work more efficiently, thereby reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tremors and even anxiety. As well, beta-blockers have a relaxing effect on muscle function, gaining the drug class a popular reputation as an illegal, performance-enhancement drug for athletes who benefit from the adrenaline-blocking effects of the medication.

Looking slim and healthy can be termed as a global human desire. And we all know that white fat cells store energy. These white fat cells infamously store fat in the belly, thighs and other places of the body. Most of us know only the two kinds of white fat.

Though we all know, lots of wife’s and girlfriends really lost their man due to the bodybuilding lifestyle, this is not the purpose of this blogpost.

I know that my wife always complained about the fact that during a cycle, she told me I was detached, selfish didn’t care as much as usually for her or our daughters. She always hated it when I took my first shot.

I also neglect my social life, friends and family, I don’t want to visit them or have them visit us, cause I want to train, rest, eat and sleep early, and I don’t use alcohol during cycle. Plus I get a very short fuse and a bad temper, get angry or irritated very quick towards my wife and children, but toward strangers much more, go into a fight in traffic, when I think someone parks wrong or drives slowly, you know it too, I assume.

We all know that steroids are building muscles. But what is really interesting and subject of much discussion and speculation. Can we build muscles if we administer anabolic steroids as injects and orals, without training? The question then would be, how much and how long?

Adrenaline

Super-human power

Most of us are familiar with the TV series “The incredible Hulk” in which the bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno played the role of the Hulk.

The process by which the scientist Bruce Banner usually transforms into the Hulk is presumably the result of the chemical catalyst, adrenaline (a.k.a. epinephrine). As in normal human beings, Banner's adrenal medulla secretes large amounts of adrenaline in time of fear, rage, or stress, which hormonally stimulates the heart rate, increases blood-sugar levels, and inhibits sensations of fatigue. Whereas the secretion heightens normal physical abilities in normal human beings, in Banner's case it triggers the complex chemical-extra-physical process that transforms him into the Hulk. The total time of transformation falls anywhere between seconds to 5 minutes, depending on the initial adrenalin surge, which will be determined by the original stimulus. Soon after the transformation, the amount of adrenalin in the Hulk will return to more normal, reduced levels. When the Hulk transforms back into Banner, the excess muscle mass and energy is lost, presumably to the same place he derives it.

Water lowers cortisol

It does not matter if sport recreational, professional, for fitness or bodybuilding. If your body-water level is lower, your cortisol level is higher. Conversely, if you are properly hydrated, your cortisol level is lower. That was discovered by sports scientists at the University of Connecticut, who did tests with endurance athletes, the study appeared in the International Journal of Sports Medicine.

Most pro-bodybuilders and other advanced AAS users such as fighters, powerlifters and athletes use (beside peptides, insulin and steroids) an enormous list of ancillaries, If they use Trenbolone something to combat prolactin/progesterone and sleeping-aids against “trensomnia,” estrogen blockers and aromatase inhibitors if they use aromatisable roids, beta blockers against anxiety, anti-depressants, statins or others to control bloodlipids, thyroid hormones and a drug to combat insulin resistance if they use a lotta rhGH, painkillers to fight the intense pain of site-injections of roids and Synthol, muscle skeletal nerve relaxants, liver protectors etc etc. I posted before about Selegiline and such, this time an old but a nowadays rising compound called Modanifil.

The Hubris Syndrome

Governmental and medical institutions warn us for the dangers of high testosterone and the use of anabolic steroids. High testosterone and the hormones converted from it, such as Dihydrotestosterone and estrogen also work on the brain.

Remember your puberty , most of these young people are sexual obsessed, they show high risk-taking behavior to prove to themselves and the outside world how tough they really are. A friend of mine once said to me that it was a miracle that he survived puberty. It is amazing how much world leaders show the same kind of reckless behavior. Often leading to unbelievable casualties. And not only politicians but also captains of industry, traders and bankers.

One of my Greek friends asked me to try to develop an improved Thiomucase gel. After I had read about some experiments someone performed on himself and I discussed this with my Greek friend, we decided to do some “in vivo” research. I mixed some different active ingredients (aminophylline and glycyrrhetinic acid).
