Motivation Manifesto

So, you want to be the best? The biggest? The baddest? You want to be a freak? You want people to stare and think how TF is this guy so big? You want women to drop to their knees?

Let’s be honest with ourselves then. You didn’t get where you are today on genetics alone. Those other dudes at the gym, the bodybuilding champions, or the guys in the magazines didn’t get there on their genetics either. In order to become the best, biggest, baddest freak you need to put everything aside and WORK FOR IT. And when you think you’re working hard, WORK HARDER. The expectations you put on yourself? They’re not big enough to become what you want to be.

Most people don’t want to work for it. They like to go on with their mediocre lives with their mediocre bodies and their mediocre women and they think that’s good enough. “Good enough” doesn’t mean jack when you want to be the best. And to be the best, you need to push hard. Push the plates when you don’t want to keep going. Push yourself when every muscle in your body is screaming at you to stop. But don’t you dare stop. Push yourself to do another cardio session for the second, hell maybe third time today. You know you need to push these limits to accomplish great things. You need to eat mindfully, with food that will fuel your body, so that you can push those limits. Pin it to win it. Train crazy. Other people don’t want it bad enough, they’re lazy. They don’t want to sacrifice and could never even come close to being in the mindset to do great things. They’re fine with being average. But you’re not, are you?

What do you have to lose by living each day as its your last? If today was the last day you spent on this earth, would you want to have spent it how you really did today? Some day that day will come. You will be forced to put everything, your pride, fear of failure, fear of embarrassment, other people’s expectations, all of the ordinary rules aside as they will fall away in those final moments. The difference between you and the biggest baddest guys? They’re not afraid to square up with death. Don’t fall in the trap of thinking you will lose it all when you go, live your life knowing you don’t have anything to lose. There is no runner up in life. Its just you, and you get one shot to be your best. Mediocrity does not cut it. Don’t be afraid of dying. Be afraid of not being in first place in your life. Push yourself everyday as if it were your last.

There comes a point, when everyone around you seems so insignificant, so mediocre, so weak, so small. And the dudes you once looked up to will respect your hustle, and see you as an equal, a brother. Even though every man fights for himself, it still is a brotherhood for the best of the best, and those pushing themselves to get there. A mutual respect among those who never quit, who never settled, who are the best. You can be the best. You can be part of the brotherhood. The question remains – are you strong enough to push through?
