Testosterone Enanthate

Much has been said about “which testosterone is best” and it’s a debate that may never be put to rest. Some experts believe there’s absolutely no difference since all testosterones are recognized in the body in the same way. In fact, when used for medical purposes, one is often substituted for another. Meanwhile, others will point out that shorter acting esters have a higher concentration of testosterone. (Misleading people into believing that they act quicker when in reality all test esters raise blood levels of T in no more than an hour). The ester is what keeps it active longer, essentially “spreading out” the dosage. For clarities sake, let’s keep it simple. All testosterones do the same thing. And the most popular, readily available and cost effective is testosterone enanthate.

Testosterone is the first anabolic steroid to be developed and through all the variations on a theme that have been presented over the years, it still remains as the king of mass builders. It’s fast. It’s cheap. And it works.

Testosterone Enanthate gives size and strength and everything else anyone can ask of a steroid including a sense of well being, enthusiasm and ambition (which can lead to aggression – a good or bad thing depending on your objective), quick weight gains and increased libido.

“Enth” is heart healthy (except in high dosages where increased red blood cell count can pose a problem) is extremely anabolic and posses little risk to the liver. The big drawback is that the increased water retention (part of the increased mass) can lead to high blood pressure. Beside other minor sides such as acne and possible hair loss, testosterone can have also a negative effect on the prostate and may cause gynecomastia in those prone to it. Many of these nasty contraindications are the result of aromatization – that being an increase in estrogen. This is why using an anti-aromatase such as Arimidex is suggested while using testosterone. Then irony here is that it is the estrogen that allows for much of its effectiveness. So the more practical approach would be to use LESS testosterone but far too many users ignore that approach and opt to invest more in the “cure” than in the “prevention.”

At one time testosterone was considered a “filler” drug, in that it could be an inexpensive addition to any cycle stack. And the results can only be improved There isn’t a drug that testosterone won’t make more effective. The caveat is that combining too many highly androgenic and/or blood building drugs can exasperate the side effects to unhealthy levels. It would not be unreasonable to say that test can, and should, in one way or another, be used in every cycle.

A single shot of 200 mgs can elevate someone’s testosterone to over 1000ngs which is as high as any male can expect naturally. So 400mgs would produce T levels beyond that of any mortal man. Still, there are those who claim they need more. The reality is, if you can’t grow on 400 mgs of testosterone, you need to reevaluate your training, your diet, and your genetics. Steroids will give an extra edge but using superphysiological dosages to compensate for one’s limitations is the not the smartest approach. This is not to say that more test will not grow more muscle. It will. But the benefits are exponentially reduced as the dosages start beyond 500 mgs of so. Even pro bodybuilders will admit anything past a gram is most likely overkill but they’ll go beyond that dose just on the chance that they can get a fraction more muscle. For them it’s a matter of being a champ or running out of the money. For the bodybuilding hobbiest such dosages are as pointless as they are dangerous.

Testosterone is the one drug that can be used alone in a cycle and be very effective. No one has ever said “Test doesn’t work for me!” Its effectiveness is certain as its results are powerful.

Though it’s often recommended as a “first cycle” this advice isn’t warrented. Testosterone is powerful and suppressive and it’s best for someone “testing the waters” to use something milder and easier on the body such as Primobolan, Anavar or Winstrol, in order to see how they react and recover quicker.

Dosage:

Testosterone enanthate usually needs to be injected just once a week. (It remains in the bloodstream for 2 weeks). When higher dosages are used, it’s best to keep an even administration throughout the cycle, spacing out the injections in specific intervals. (i.e. every 3-4 days). When using testosterone with other steroids keep the total dosage in mind. If you’re using 800 mgs of other drugs, suddenly that conservative 400mgs of T isn’t so conservative. Always keep total dosages within reason to avoid complications.

Availability:

Testosterone is the easiest and cheapest steroid to obtain. This leads people to buy enormous amounts form UG labs but since pharmaceutical grade is legal with a prescription it may be best to try and get “the good stuff” since there’s enough of it going around.
