Anadur (nandrolone hexylphenylpropionate)

Anadur is steroid very closely related to Deca Durabolin. The active compound in both steroids is 19-nor-testosterone, or more commonly known as nandrolone. The difference between this drug and that of Deca is that Anadur is attatched to the Hexyloxyphenylpropionate ester instead of the durabolin ester which makes it even slower acting than Deca. Because this is a very large ester, the actual amount of nandrolone contained on a mg to mg basis is lower than that of Deca or NPP.

Those taking Anadur could expect to see results almost identical to those of Deca, a quality gain in muscle mass without much estrogen buildup. Users often report very good gains in both mass and strength with low side effects. It is also important to note that those with sore joints etc. often report their joints feeling much better while running any nandrolone. Those with shoulder and elbow issues often report that these problems seem to go away during a cycle. Anadur is not a very estrogenic drug, and only causes around 20% of the estrogen buildup of testosterone. While the levels of estrogen that Anadur produces are low, there is third mechanism in which Anadur can convert. Nandrolone has been shown to have agonistic effects and high affinity binding with the progesterone receptor and act as a progestin throughout the body. The results of this effect can be similar to estrogenic side effects such as bloat and even gyno. Ideally, one would want to run an anti-progesterone compound alongside Anadur such as bromo or caber. Those looking to stack Anadur would often take it with such compounds as testosterone enanthate or cypionate. Users might also wish to add an oral such as Dianabol or Winstrol. Since Anadur has a high affinity towards the androgen receptor while having a lower androgenic expression, it is usually not recommended to be taken without testosterone. Without a high androgenic expression and having a strong bond to the AR enzyme, side effects of low testosterone are possible such as the infamous such as impotence, lethargy, and a low sex drive. Due to this, most users consider it a must to always run a testosterone “base” to any cycle containing a nandrolone to prevent these side effects. The manner in which this drug bonds to the AR enzyme, it also has a very profound effect on shutting down one’s body’s natural ability to produce testosterone. Because of this, most users often run testosterone for a few weeks after discontinuing Anadur in order to clear the AR receptor and and prepare it for natural function. It’s also important to run a proper PCT protocol at cycle’s end.

Male users of Anadur often find a dosage of 200-600mg a week to be sufficient. With its large, slow ester, Anadur can be inejected as seldom as once per week, although most find splitting the dosage up over the course of two shots a week to be much more comfortable and useful for keeping the most steady blood levels. Anadur is also ok for women users, where a dosage of 25-50mg a week to provide good results.
