well, last cycle I was hitting 4500 calories and was putting on a lot of fat so this cycle I wanted to cut it down a bit so I don't retain as much fat. The way I see it, there is no reason to have such a caloric surplus that you start storing it and never using it lol. As of right now, I've been hitting 3200-3500 calories, 300-320 carbs, 230-260 protein, and I'm not sure on fats, don't really keep track of it in my logs. just doing the math on caloris/gram of each protein, carb and fat, I'd say that I'm only getting 100-130g/fat per day, but that's just a guess. For the past 6 days or so though, I have had the flue and not been able to stay on track with my diet or training at all. I've lost a little bit of weight from that, but I'm feeling better now so the diet will be set straight. I'm guessing since I'm starting to lose some body fat, It would probably be a good idea to up the calories a little more? Oh, and I'm 6' 180lb ~8.5% bf

what your natural test level is wont have much to do with how much gear you use on cycle. once you start using gear, your natural production shuts off. for you and your level of experience, 500mg should be just fine. you say you're very dry. it makes me wonder if the adex is too high, but i also see your mention (and saw your other thread )about possibly suffering from gyno. if you have gyno issues, lowering the AI isnt going to be a good idea. just "puffiness is kinda hard to go by though...i addressed this in more detail in that thread...
lets step away from the chemicals for just a minute here and look at diet. if im not eating enough on cycle, i start to take on the look you described. so lay it one me, what is your carb, fat. protein intake? weight, height? we'll get to the bottom of both of these issues.

Question 3: I got blood work done before this cycle. My test levels were in the low 300's. I know the "Normal range" goes up into the mid/high 800s. Do you think I should be doing more than 500 test a week for my next cycle? I know that 500mg/wk doesn't translate to just adding 500 to your current test levels(i believe those are rated at mcg/100ml? but whatever).

i like that eq dosing better. personally, i suggest 600 mg a wk. 800 mg for guys that have been around the block. some do just fine with less though. we have a couple guys on the board who swear by 400mg wk. more power to them. for the var, yea, why not knock it down to 60mg. as far as timing goes, if you want to run it at the end of the cycle, why not start it a couple wks later and then, because the half life is so short, you could run it right up to your pct.

Sam, could use your input on a couple of things here. This cycle seems to be yielding some odd results haha. I'm doing as follows (as per your recommendation a couple of months ago):

anavar is so pricey...would 100mg work better than 50mg? well yea, but i dont think the results will be 2x what they would've been at 1/2 the dose. you are already running the test and eq...i would rely on them to do more of the "heavy lifting" in this cycle and keep the var around 60mg. if you were considering running a higher dose of any of these compounds, i would first look towards the EQ. i've had a decent amount of experience with aas at this point and i hate to admit it, but for me personally, EQ seems to be one of those compounds that more seems to better and doesnt have additional side effects.Last edited by sam1976; 12-05-2012, 02:47 AM.

exactly! i dont know why so many athletes want to use winny. it really isnt ideal. repetitive/explosive movements plus dry joints are not my idea of a good time. i've heard of athletes using a low dose of anavar and having good results. athletes can use much lower doses than bodybuilders do. i've heard of rugby players using 20-30mg, where as in BB, 50mg is normal. anavar is also one of the "safer" orals. make sure you follow up any AAS use with a well planned PCT
heres the thing. you may need to experiment with timing to figure out when to use AAS to optimize your gains. in some cases, i've heard of athletes getting slower while using, even on "dry" compounds. i've heard victor conte of balco speak on this. he says the ideal time for a runner to use AAS would be in the preseason. they gain more strength and with this comes more mass. it may slow them down as they are developing more strength. but then when they come off the gear, they can maintain some of the strength they had developed in the preseason. they may not be as strong as they were when they were "on" but they are still much stronger than they were before they took the drug.
so watch yourself. AAS may not work for you the way you'd like. one more thing to consider, if there is a chance you can be tested, you'll need to be very careful with what you take and understand detection times. some drugs can be seen for a long time. deca is like 18 months. orals are faster than many injectables but some injects clear quickly.

I don't know if there's anything you can do, but the girls that entered the contest on the Naps site are getting beat up pretty good from the comments left by immature people. Is there anything you can do to stop this, maybe take the comment section off or make it so that know one can post a comment. If this keeps up the beautiful girls that have entered these contests will not what to in the future, I rather be looking at the girls than a contest for a sausage party. jmtc
