Upon further research it appears that the addition of Primobolan would be a better option. Again I say appears because I'm going with whats on paper, this will be my first cycle of real gear and from my understanding the first one is your best one, so I just want to ensure that my cycle aids in accomplishing my goals ( to put on quality lean mass ) without taking unnecessary foolish risk.
    way to do your homework, but as limo said don't overananlyze things. You siad in your original post you wanted to gain some lean mass, but would yo consider this to be a bulking cycle or a cutting cycle? Figure out your goals and then what will help you get there. Keep us posted as to what you decide and hopefully we can help you figure everything out with plenty of time to spare before you want to start in Oct.

      imo, i would stick to just test for your first cycle. with it being your first cycle, you should grow like a weed on 500mg of test. dbol isnt harsh at all so add it if you want, but i wouldnt push my first cycle any further than that. i bet the results from just test would blow ur mind

        And I was thinking of taking 10mg of nolva before bed while on cycle, I'm not prone to gyno but one can never be to careful. (any thoughts)?

        Also this will be my first time pinning, a little nervous about the whole process I was thinking that my glutes would be the best spot to pin but any pointers or advice would be greatly appreciated.

        I agree with not needing the anavar for your first cycle.You;ll grow like a weed on the test and dbol alone if your diet and training or on.

        I personally like to always run test for no less than 12-14 wks.Just my preference though.I just feel it really gives enough time to get the most benefit from the cycle.Never had any issues with sides so it could be different if you react harshly to taking AAS.But you'll know that early in the cycle anyway so you could always adjust the length if need be.

        As far as the nolva,it a good idea to have some on hand in case gyno should appear,but IMHO theres no need to just start taking it.I feel adding adex at .25mg ed will aid in this and if you really get hit hard with sides than you could always add the nolva.

        Good luck with the first cycle man.Eat up and hit it hard in the gym and you'll do great.

          Appreciate the input Disco, my goal is to gain quality lean mass. My logic behind the switch from Anavar to Primobolan is due to the fact that, I figured during the first 4 weeks of Dbol and test I would add the size I desire and the last 6 weeks the test will continue to add size while the Primobolan leans out the gains made.

          I was reading that Arnold used this combo a lot although instead of test he used Deca. The writers of the article implemented that's why Arnold was able to add size yet keep his waist small and have incredible aesthetics where due to the use of Primobolan

          Arnold ran Primobolan and Dbol for the first 20 weeks of the cycle and the last 6 weeks he bridged the Dbol and Deca.

          Not trying to over analyze, I'm a planner by nature, and I just want to ensure that the cycle I'm putting together is sound.

            Remember brother ,this is your first cycle and theres and old saying..."K.I.S.S." which stands for Keep it Simple Stupid.Your first cycle will be your basic meat and potatoes cycle.You're going to grow on the basics.Thats why they're saying not to over analyze things. Once you run more cycles you will need to add more compounds and start tweeking your cycles from what you've learned from previous cycles as to what works best for YOU.Everyone is different so you will react differently than other so you may add or subtract things based on that.

            Just stick with the basics for now and you'll do fine.

                  also if you start with test, then only add one new compound per cycle, if you run into side effects you will know for sure what caused it

                    That's true, at this point I think I'm going to just run the test & dbol for my first cycle and add from there. I'm not running it until October so I still have plenty of time to continue my research, though I feel the test & dbol is a good starting point.
