  • For newbies, don't make the same mistake I did!!!

So I just starting lifting a little over a year ago. When I very first started a could not lift hardly any weight. So like most newbies, I didn't listen to the advise of the guys who had been doing this awhile and I started a cycle after only working out about 2 months. I got solid gains and my strength really increased (this turned out to be a huge problem). The problem was that my major muscles got way too strong too fast and the minor and stabilizer muscle couldn't keep up. I didn't ever lift with light weight to try to build up those muscles either. The major issue that I had was with my shoulder, it got to the point where the tendons and ligaments hurt so bad it was hard to sleep.

I had to take a little time away from the gym and even when i returned to the gym I did super light weight trying to build up my weaker muscles.

There is a reason why people on this board will tell you to have a good workout routine for a very long time before starting AAS, listen to them!!!!!

Great post, bro. It's important to have a solid foundation prior getting started with AAS. It makes a world of difference in many ways.

cfinch making sure to do some isolation delt exercises might be a good idea i hear alot of people get inbalances there where they get the front shoulder heads very developed and the delts only slightly supposedly can lead to shoulder pain and overall muscle imbalance
but hey thats just what i think and i'm a idiot so don't listen to me
