Hung out with a buddy last night and split a case of beer... feel like crap today and looking especially soft... I know drinking is bad for me but after 8 years in the Marines, which is a drinking culture, and then a few years sailing, also a drinking culture, drinking in the evenings has become a part of my routine, and I'm having trouble breaking it... I don't usualy get wrecked, 2 or 3 a day is the norm but I'd really like to cut these out of my diet which is otherwise pretty clean...
the problem is the hand to mouth fixation, i sit down in the evenings and I want drink something... soda is no better than alcohol, maybe even higher calorie... juice is also high calorie... coffee will keep me up all night... what I need is something healthy'ish and non stimulant to drink in the evening to replace the alcohol.... Any suggestions? anyone else have this problem?
