Im thinking about changing gyms. I just want to know what everybody pays here monthly for a gym membership. Mine is 50 a month. Just want to know if better options out there do exist.

$34.99 per month. Any gym in my area. My wife pays $10 less for the same deal. (pays to be hot I guess). -
It depends on where you are and what gym you go to.Where I live gyms range from $10.00-$60.00 a month.For me,whats more important than the price is what they have in the way of equipment and what other members they have.I mean do they have a bunch of kids hanging out there all day wasting time or do they have serious lifters taking care of business and thats it.Is it way to over crowded is another very important factor to me.
Whenever I travel,I like to check out local gyms and see how many of my "musts" & "must nots" they have and their prices.Id rather pay a few bucks more for a gym thats has all the equipment I need with a good size free weight area and not too crowded than save a few bucks and have to put up with the local wanna b's fuckin around all day flirting with each other or checkin out the chics while im waiting to lift.Comment

Thats the problem with the old gym. To many juice heads not cleaning up, not re-racking weights and teens using bench press as a coat hanger. Its one big mess. Thanks for the advice. See if there's a Best Fitness near you (it's a chain) I pay $25 a month. Nice place, lots of equipment, showers, lockers etc. I can't train for meets there though, no boards, chains or chalk allowed. Boo!Comment

The gym I go to is only $22/month but it doesn't have a lot of stuff I'd like ... I'd gladly pay more for more of a gym but it's only 7 miles away and the next closest one is 20 miles.... easy decision with gas prices the way they are...Comment

I pay $225 for a year at my gym.....plus I can always use the rec center at the university I'm attending. Too bad both of them are closed today!!!!!!!!!!!Comment
