Currently I am doing 30mins of daily cardio at 65-70% MHR on an empty stomach when I first wake up in the afternoon (I work 11-7 ) so my day begins around 1pm
I am on a 2 on 1 off, 1 on 1 off training schedule in which I am using a Vince Geronda type hybrid workout which consists of 8 sets of 8 reps x 2 exercises for large muscle groups and 1 set of 8 x 8 supersets for small muscle groups. Currently I am using 30 second rest intervals between sets and 1 min interval between exercises.
I count my workouts as a cardio session as my HR rarely goes under 80-85% of my MHR so, on workout days I am doing 2 cardio sessions
Eventually I will add another exercise of 8x8 for large and small MG's towards the end of my fat loss goal (when I get down to around 8% BF)
Anyone thinks this is a sissy workout I beg to differ.
This is the type of workout I used to get in the shape in my profile pic in 6 months and I was 265lbs and hadn't worked out in 20 yrs then so I looked and felt like S***
