anavar - prednisolone

Some IR spectra, one of my friends posted this in our closed forum:

here are the spectra I thought it was HPLC but these are infrared spectroscopy it looks for functional groups.

I asked him, since im unfamiliar with IR, how he calls purity on these and what distinguishes var from let’s say DHT, he told me he has saved reference spectra to match up and also looks for obvious functional groups such as Fluorine group in halo or hydroxyl methyl dienone group on drol or funky looking stanozolol, he also has access to MS/GC and HPLC

HPLC will be used if he knows its deca or tren because those two look similar on IR, he knows what he is doing and again for drug discovery this what he has to do all day. He's not biased in anyway.

I will get more spectra such as halo and primo from him, these are IR spectra on var and prednisolone

So I ran all the samples, and I can provide spectra if desired.

>Samples 5,6and 7 are all anavar, and from the same batch as best I can tell. About 96%pure
Sample 8 is your Prednisolone, about 97.5% pure."

I am just curious about the purity, did he run some standards to compare ?

there are a lot of other peaks which indicate presence of other chemicals.

What you tested that revealed prednisolone?

I'll post a few extra Ir cause one of moderators would like to look at them

primo e
halo
and bad mast E
he points out why that extra peak is causing cloudy Mast E.

looks like IR is bad ass for ID
and again I asked him about purity call out, he said he has ref spectra for all of these to call out % purity and even has spectra saved for bad raws. he says solvents are not being removed.
he can also do HPLC and GC/MS
