Protein in pill form

Is there such a thing as protein in pill form and if not why not i know we can get protein from food and shakes but why not a vitamin

look at TwinLab - Lpp Concentrated Protein 1000mg, I am not sure its worth it I am thinking it has to do with Absorption. My belief you get more from powder.

i've heard of humapro pills from ALRI. very expensive though. plus, the problem is, a gram is a gram is a gram. a scoop of whey is usually like 28g, ,24ish grams of which are protein. if you have 1000mg pills...1 gram per pill, you'll still need to take 28 pills to get 28g's.
