  • Not sure what my body is telling me

    Recently I have changed my workout. I change it every 2 months. My last 2 months was very high intensity workouts. Long sets, high reps and alot of resistance bands. This two months Im trying to pack on a little more mass with extremely heavy free weights, low reps(3-4) and 5 sets w/ 4 to 5 exercises per body part. Working out every other day. My muscles are having delayed soreness. For example: workout triceps on monday, off tuesday w/ no soreness and boom the soreness hits wednesday. Not sure what my body is telling me. Has this happened to anybody? Hopefully yall guys can help me figure out whats going on?

    D.O.M.S. is a normal reaction to a new trianing program brother.Your body is just telling you it's reacting to the new trianing routine,which is good.Thats what you want.Ive had it happen 2 days after training.Its usually happens the 1st day or 2 after training,so its not un-usual for it to really hit the 2nd day and then start to subside from there on out.

        I agree with F.I.S.T., the second day your going to be the most sore. Your lifting heavier now so your noticing it more.
