it depends on how dark you already are and how well you tan. if you have a hard time tanning, you'll probably need to start earlier than someone who has good tanning genetics. all this being said, its not a huge deal that you're very very dark. it helps to have a base tan but you dont need to fry yourself and risk skin damage in order to get dark. the contest tanning products work very very well and will be several shades darker than the base tan you get, even if you tan very dark!Originally posted by Bigs251 View Post

i would suggest that if you dont tan well, start tanning 2 months out. if you do tan well, 5 wks is plenty. work your way up to tanning every day at the end. it'll help to dry and tighten your skinif you are new to the board, please take a minute to read the rules...CLICK HEREComment
