I am in my 40's and have decided its time to get back into the click of things. I have used steroids in the past during my younger years as a powerlifter. Right know I am in the building my cardio and shedding some weight (fat) stage. I have a lower back issue (2 perforated disc) which causes pain but I am going to fight through it. I have noticed in the past when I lose weight, my back pain doesn't go completely away but doesn't bother me as bad. I have been informed that if I can strengthen my core it will help combat the lower back pain. I have a couple of questions and I hope I'm at the right place.
1. what supplements are out there that will help me get my ass of the couch and work out? (Something to provide energy.)
2. Once I start lifting again, what supplements should I take to cut body fat but help in toning?
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
