  • first cycle timing

    I am ready to do my first real cycle (see below) and I know about the = time off as on rule so my question is this: When would it be best to start this cycle so I will be ready to run a summer cycle and what should that one be???
    Stats:
    44 yrs. old
    185lbs. @ 5'6"
    been working out religiously for 3 yrs.

    cycle: 12 weeks
    Test E- 500mg wk 1-12
    dbol-40 mg/day 1-5 wk
    arimadex-.5mg wk 1-16
    HCG-?????? wk 1-16 ???
    Chlomid pct wk 13-16

    All comments and suggestions are welcome as I am a newbie I want to do it right. Thank you...

    Good solid cycle this is still one of my favourite cycles! HCG ? Me personally im not fussed about it, waste of money if you get atrophy of the testes theyll soon bump back after PCT may be Nolva and Clomid for PCT ?

    Its true time on should be time off but for me personally my body bounces back very quickly, The usual length o my cycles are 12-15 weeks depending on how my body has reacted to the cycle and then after PCT Im usually good to go about 8 weeks after. Best bet is to get some blood work done before and after as this is your first cycle you want to be able to see how your body reacts to compounds etc.

      Perfect cycle for a newbie. Hcg is good to keep gains. With gear thats the largest problem, keeping gains when restoring natural test levels. At the age of 44 your test levels are'nt up to par as they use to be. So its going to be a little harder to bring back normal test levels like younger athletes. HCG should be run 250iu twice a week. Theres a article on HCG post by ipenetrah "HCG unraveled". Look it on this board for it. It tells you everything you need to know about HCG. Run this cycle through nov to end of jan. Take some time off and start summer cycle around may or june. Order you summer gear early in feb or march. Summer is a busy time for any supplier.

        Personally I believe being your first cycle you should just go with the test and HCG. If you have great gains from this it could be mostly from the test or if you have a bad reaction from something you won't know what it is. I believe in adding one thing AAS at a time. I also think the HCG should be run from the start thru pct. Of course the adex and chlomid are given. Good luck bro.

              I'm hoping to get up to 195-210 and maintain. I'm only 5'6" so I think any more weight I'd look weird.......

                well lets say after your first cycle you are in that range (as long as ur diet is good) so for the 2nd cycle.. it doesnt sound like you want to bulk, seems like you would just wana gain a few lbs of lean muscle and define yourself more.. does that sound right? Only asking cause you want help with ur 2nd cycle but we need to know which way you wana go!

                  Absolutely!!!! I wanna gain like 15lbs then get all cut up, dry, lean and hard.......

                    Summer cycles should just be less calories and a little more cardio. Try to resist deca, anadrol, dbol, etc.. the gear that makes you bloat, showing less cuts and striations. Masteron and test maybe some winny. Alot of people like tren during the summer. I think thats a really harsh steroid for newbies. Either you love or hate it due to side effects.

                      I would suggest stopping HCG end wk 13 (I also stop adex).
                      and Clomid start wk 14-17. - The Test E will still be with u week 13 (ur levels will peak in 12-24hrs from Inj, then slowly decline for next 7-10 even 12 days).
