Blood gusher!

Just injected 2ml test prop into right quad a few moments ago.

On inserting the needle the leg felt a bit sore but nothing worse than I have had before. Once fully in, i aspirated - no blood and proceeded to inject slowly. On removing the needle though I think I must had nicked a vein as Ive just had a proper blood squirter about 1ml of blood most have shot out my leg onto the carpet. Took a little while for the blood to stop running after that initial large squirt....

Anyone had this before?

Should I be watching for anything or is it just something that happens from time to time?

Definitely hit a vein.Ive had it happen before and it should be no big deal.As long as you aspirated and saw no blood,then you're GTG.Scary shit though huh?LOL

lol i have never had it SHOOT.. thats some serious pressure sounds like an artery would pop like that. but obv ur fine if u had time to ask the question

Yeah Im fine....my leg feels a tad sore so probably going to have some nice pip tomorrow lol flaming carpet is going to need some serious stain relief work tomorrow when the shops open for the cleaning products lol

I had it happen on my Delt but it also did not shoot it just leaked out all over my arm for a lil but and i just held pressure on there til it stopped

happened when I was injecting a patient ,,, he was like WTF
but it's ok as long as you aspirated

Just last week i had an interesting event speaking of this topic. I did a right glute injection, normally I get no blood or a small dollop. Last week I pinned, pulled it out, set it on the kitchen table grabbed the alcohol swab, looked back and the blood was already to my ankle. It was pouring out of the hole. About 5 seconds it stopped. Had no pain afterward, nothing. Frickin strange.
