Hey guys. I have been reading up on a lot on the specifics and biochemistry of the hormones and compounds in your body and how they change through and coming off a cycle.
Something that I recently read about is cortisol and it's effects after cycle due to an increased ammout of it in your blood system. Not really a problem while on cycle, but once test levels drop test can no longer block cortisol receptors like it does on cycle, and apparently this is the biggest cause of catabolic state after cycle.
I never took cortisol into consideration before I started cycle and don't know too much about how certain drugs effect cortisol on the pct side of things. Although I have yet to reach it I have nolva set up for PCT along with HCG although HCg is run throughout cycle (Maintenence>repair in my opinion). Do one of these reduce cortisol levels during PCT? I actually read that HCg raises it along with test levels.
What are good ways to keep cortisol levels in check while on PCT until your body is able to reduce it back down to a state of homeostasis since your receptors are more sensetive to it again? Or am I just paranoid about it and it's something I shouldnt worry about and just blown out of porportion in my head?
Thanks for the help guys.
