  • Newbie with a little experience and looking for some feedback to my current condition

    Hey guys and gals,

Been working out and lost near 60lbs. Recently some weight seems to have been cuddling its way back to my mid section. I have experience with T-ethanate for about a year and i was feeling awesome due to some physical issues i was going through and have been. I have little to report in actual muscle gain after cycling 200 twice a week for 8 weeks on and 8 weeks off. Although i did lose weight and have been told by my Dr. my muscle structure is phenominal although i dont seem to look more than the average male. I stopped taking test a few months ago and switched to Hygetropin and was having good results even with a low dose of 3iu/day. Over the past few months many symptoms i was having prior to test have been coming back. It all goes back to 2007 when i went to the Dr. with serious fatigue and dizziness issues along with migraines. Blood work then and i was told it was all normal. At that time i told them i thought i had a brain tumor so they did an MRI and found nothing. Although since then i have felt a pressure behind my eyes and adjacent to my left ear with hearing phasing in that ear. Well low and behold 4 weeks ago my shoulder started flaring up in extreme pain so i went to my Doctor again and he sent me to an ortho surgeon who 2 days later xrayed my shoulder and also my neck thinking some symptoms were from a neck injury. 20 min. later he came back and said i had shoulder problems and neck problems but was concerned with my pituitary gland as the xray showed calcium/bone growing on it. They immediately called for MRI scans of my neck, shoulder, and brain. Shoulder is worn out, just had surgery yesterday, hurts like hell but should heal well. Neck doesnt bother me so im leaving that alone although the MRI of my brain not only confirmed calcified growth it showed i have a tumor logged between my pituitary and hypothalumus. The tumor is growing and will kill me if left unattended although it is not cancerous. Thats great news. The tumor is pushing on my pituitary and the result is very low LH and FSH output resulting in low test and thyroid function. Dr. prescribed androgel of course which seems ok although i did prefer injection. I did not tell him i was taking HGH and i also did not take any the day my bloodwork was done. My levels of igf-1 came back at 156 which kinda surprised me. They consider 250 the high side of normal and i thought with only 3iu/day i should of been closer to the 250 mark. Im wondering if because of its half life it cannot show a true level when not taken, 4-6 hour half life, i think before it is out of the body. I have been taking taitropin the past month instead of hygotropin so i dont know if it makes any difference but they are essentially the same 191aa. So two days ago before my shoulder surgery i have started taking 6iu each day and i am monitoring my blood sugar. I have anyways since im hypoglycemic and my pancreas over produces insulin. Well that is likely in my favor and i am considering even a higher dose since taitropin is so inexpensive. I have some thyroid hormones available to me and dont want to wait til august when the dr. wants to start treatment for that. what would you suggest? t3, clomid, ? i come to realize since this tumor has resulted in low hormone levels it would explain the low muscle gain even with high doses. any thoughts? my endicronoligist isnt fond of body builders, he made that fairly clear to me thats why i didnt tell him about hgh. I also had almost zero vitamin D levels, he said dangeroously low and put me on 50,000 units/ week and folic acid is low which i am now supplementing. Let me know your thoughts, thanks.

Wow! Sorry to hear about all of that. I have to say at this phase in the game I wouldn't keep anything from your doctor. If they are gonna help they need to know everything that's going on. Steroids are serious hormones as is hgh, I know your gonna do what your gonna do, but brother if I had a doctor that was so anti-testosterone I'd find a new doctor! You need someone that's gonna be on your team and there to help you with every tool possible!
      Also welcome to JM!

welcome aboard! sorry to hear about your issues bro, thats horrible. if it were me, id lay off everything until all your issues were corrected. bodybuilding is a marathon, not a sprint. so lay off for a while and get everything else in check. once your healthy you can jump back on and start growing
Pain is just weakness leaving the body

Thanks guys, I don't think my endicronoligist is completely against testosterone since he prescribed it to me but he didnt like the fact that i told him i was supplementing it on my own. He asked how much and i had told him. He then said so you were abusing it? i said to him well that depends on how you look at it. i was attempting to get my physical well being back on track and my entire family was well aware i was purchasing test including sisters, inlaws, uncles and aunts. IDK the big deal nowadays it didnt even phase my family and my father a reverend is the one whom suggested i give it a try. He nodded his head and asked if i ever abused illegal drugs and i said no and then he told me hed prefer i used what he prescribed rather than risk a product from canada or mexico. He asked me which place i was getting it from and i told him i didnt remember although it was coming from here in the US. Then he said so were you body building and i said i was a member at the Y and working out quite a bit. Not necessarily trying to be the Schwartz but to have a healthy physique that i wasnt able to obtain without Test. I was figuring that something wouldve shown up on the igf-1 test that wouldve at least been to the high side of normal. The only other thing i can think of is if the product wasn't legit. I seem to feel better on it but then again i want too. The only thing i could find online for Taitropin is the folks selling it from China, nothing more, maybe i should try pub med. I'd be curious though the difference in potency from product to product. Possibly hyg is a better or more potent product. My spouse is a biochem and said it is highly likely they very in potency from one to the other and the amount of product sold has nothing to do with the quality. It would really suck to spend $1500 on a dozen cases and inject them for 6 months to find it really didnt matter and three cases of the hyg may have done more physically. Anyways i agree i should tell him about the hgh although i was waiting to see what the results were and im a little lost due to the normal range i guess. After a week on the Androgel he prescribed it is definately apparent it is working and seems to me it is much more stable then the injectable with less of a peak and slide although its messy to use and i have to worry about my to young boys coming in contact with it or my wife for that matter, lol. i dont want her looking like those woman i saw in the other post, lol.

            Welcome to to JM.

Really sorry to hear about all the health issues.

I think in something like this, you need to tell your doctors aeverything about your uses and let them make choices for you based on that knowledge.

            Good luck in everything man.

beleive it or not, the gel has more ups and downs. long acting injects are very stable but the gel changes through the day. thats not a bad thing. in fact, it is closer to mimicking the way test levels are in a younger male.
