  • Follow-up: new GP Test 400 & Primo 200

So...is anyone else getting a lot of unusual swelling from the new GP Test 400 or GP Primo 200?

I'm glad to hear that Krazy is having success with these new GP mixes. . .but I'm not. Effects of the products are fine, but the site reactions aren't. I get a lot of prolonged swelling and discomfort.
This latest was only 1/2 cc of GP test 400 to right thigh; and here at day 5 with odd swelling and heat over the area but not much pain now. Swelling is subsiding, but it even gave me a slight fever for a day and a half (that's gone now). GF was freaking that I had an abcess. I didn't think so.
Had the same thing with a pin of the new GP Primo 200. Very odd swelling that swept accross the top of my right glute...finally went away.

This is uncomfortable and "un-nerving" (no pun intended). It affects my training.

Any ideas why I'm having these reacitons? The new GP Primo 200 is also produced with enthanate.
So it's either poorly mixed/too much BA in these 2 new formulas, or my body doesn't like Enthanate?
I have no such reaction to the older GP cyp 250 or GP EQ.

If anyone from GP/Naps wants to verify this, that would be helpful. Problem is there's no lot number on these.
Thanks for any info you can lend..

Im not getting "swelling" with the test 400 but it does take the oil forever to break down. I put 1 ml in my shoulder about 13 days ago, and I can still feel a slight bit of oil that has not yet dissolved. As far as pain is concerned, I have not felt any. Im assuming you are using proper handling techniques prior to each pin. You seem to be knowledgeable. Im not sure what you have going on mic. I would be concerned as well if I was getting reactions like that.

High mg per ml test has always had a little bite for me. I've never had any pip or other problems with GP oils though. I'll be running that primo soon so I'll post up any issues.

Oh yes, very sterile and proper techniques. I never reuse a needle more than twice. ;] (kidding)
I think the fact of the slow oil breakdown may have something to do with it. Add to that the possibility that I may have hit a nerve and/or oil buildup. I diffinately rotate sites. Hell, some guys will refuse to pin thighs because of complications they've had.
So given that this new oil is tough to break down, my system may have issues with it. Ya never know with injectables. I used some US Watson cyp yesterday...love it.
I think I'll stay away from these new formulas and enthanate unless I've nothing left. Time to order some more EQ and Cyp 250...

And as some of you others mentioned... it makes sense that a higher concentration would be a little more painful.

Thank all for the info and keep me posted on your reactions with these...

hey i have found that it helps to take a benadryl 30 minutes prior to injection...this helps combat pip and swelling. i had horrible pip from qdl test and the benadryl all but eliminates that.

another option that may help with radically high dosed gear is mix it with a lower dosed oil. like if you were doing test400 with deca. pin it with the deca, or say in your situation, instead of shooting a straight 1/2cc, maybe give a try to 1/2cc t400 and 1/2cc of your watson cyp. whenever i've used gear that has been painful for me, i'm managed to escape some of the discomfort by doing this.

i've also found that heating the oil and lowering the viscosity helps with site pain. i used to run my vial under warm water, but since water isnt sterile, i dont like the idea of getting my vials wet before i draw from them. so now days, when i've wanted to heat my oil, i'll run a hair drier over the loaded barrel before injecting. just be careful not to heat it up too much, as you obviously could burn yourself

id go easy on the benadryl. prolonged use of that can lead to some problems. i just deal with the pip, yea it fuckn sucks but it also gives me a good idea to what my reactions are to the compounds im taking

Wow ds222 that is awesome, enlightening, shocking, believable, and hilarious. Only in America is death served up in giant generic bottles at Target, and Walmart. Our lawmakers tell us that we need to see a physician to get an effective suppository for hemorrhoids, but you can load up on hot Benadryl candy all day! It won't be long before we are forced to see a doctor to get anything other than Fast Food and Hostess Cakes...

interesting. i used to take it way too much. i think i took benadryl as a sleep aid for about 4 yrs straight. i still use it now days if i have a hard time getting enough sleep. its rare though. my sleep supps, GABA, melatonin and taurine, seem to knock me out pretty good and i feel they help my recovery. good to know about this though. thanks

Ahh, alternative sleep aids..well .. my fav was "Renewtrient". Amazing shit!
I used to buy it at health shops in the 90's before the Prohibition.
Wish it was available somewhere... plz let me know if it is, or PM.

I never considered benadryl. don't like it. It dries me out, eyes/sinus, etc. Thanks for the reading guys.

Anyway...back to the topic; I made the mistake of injecting closer to the front of my thigh and may have hit the Lymph system. Symptoms are nearly gone now, but I think that may have been the cause of my irritation. I need to stay more to the outside area for thigh injections.
I'll keep you posted... Thanks all!
