  • Gyno Questions

Hello everyone! I have a few gyno questions I would like to throw to the experts and get some advice and further knowledge.

So as a bit of a background; this is my very first AAS cycle. It is very basic doing twice a week injections of test cyp putting me about 500mg of test per week. I am also taking Dbol twice a day through the first 4 weeks of the cycle. I have been taking .5mg of Arimidex every third day. When I first started my cycle I was 5'5", weighing about 156lbs (I am 28 years old)....I now weigh around 166lbs and all my lifts are up, ie bench has went from 310 to about 365. I am on pin 8, basically the start of my 4th week of a 10 week cycle.

Several years back (bout 6 years), before I was very knowledgeable and prohormones were not FDA banned I took a cycle of P6, which at that time was 100% prohormone. I developed some slight gyno....nothing major, just a small amount of tough tissue behind the nipples. It has really never went away as I was not aware of the effects of the prohormone or what gyno even was back then. I have been very cautious in working through this cycle as I wasnt sure if since I had already had some gyno if I was more apt to get it worse or not, hence the reason I am taking Arimidex.

So now that you have the background here are my questions:
    - Because I already have a bit of gyno are my chances higher in getting it worse?
    - Is Arimidex enough to ensure I wont get gyno any worse?
    - My nipples really arent sore at all, is soreness a sure sign of gyno taking place?
    - Can you start getting gyno without your nipples getting sore?
    - Is there some other product I need to introduce into my cycle to help prevent gyno for certain?

I apologize the thread is so long, but I am really happy with my first cycle gains to this point! My biggest fear is the appearance of gyno and me not being certain if it is of concern or getting any worse. The last thing I want to do is stop mid-cycle but if gyno is going to take over I really wouldnt have a choice as I dont have the money to get surgery and dont want to end up with an odd looking chest.

Thanks in advance to everyone's insight on the matter! I appreciate very much!

    - Because I already have a bit of gyno are my chances higher in getting it worse?
Yes, the tissue is already there. It will more readily respond to estrogen
    - Is Arimidex enough to ensure I wont get gyno any worse?
Based on the Cycle information you have provided, yes. Arimidex should be an effective solution.
    - My nipples really arent sore at all, is soreness a sure sign of gyno taking place?
No, but it is a fairly good indication. Based on the dosage of Adex and your cycle info, I would say you are good.
    - Can you start getting gyno without your nipples getting sore?
    Yes
    - Is there some other product I need to introduce into my cycle to help prevent gyno for certain?
The only compound stronger (that is readily available) than Arimidex is Letrozole (Femara) and that would be overkill for this cycle...

So if they begin to become sort etc, should I up my arimidex dosage or look to stop my cycle all together? I just dont want to create a problem that wont go away, or something that would cause me to have surgey.

      Thoughts?

My advice is no substitute for that of a physician... You could take more Adex, but I would recommend blood work if you become concerned...

          Great advice, Krazy!

Gyno is not reversible and will not go away. Once you get it the only way to remove it is thru surgery.
