  • My First Cycle/ Please Review Thanks

    I am a 40 year old male 6' tall and weigh 190 lbs with a 14% bfi.

    I have been working out for just under 4 years, and have reached a plateau.

    After a lot of reading for the past month, this is the first cycle I have come up with.

    Please take a look at it, any advice will be greatly appreciated.



    Week 1-12 Test -C 250 Mon/Thurs
    Starting First Day .5 Anastrozole until 40 pills gone
    PCT Starts Week 14
    clomid 100/100/50/50
    nolva 40/40/20/20

    Only use Adex as needed, start on your second week if you notice any sides or water retention, other than that really you don't have to use it... it'll dry your joints up as well

      You could throw some D-Bol in to get things going for ya, it would kick in before the Test.

        someone correct me if im wrong but, i dont think you need to run nolva AND clomid. eirther or will be just fine i believe. d bol will make you a whole hell of a lot stronger but you will get a lot of water retention with it which is personally a huge turn off for me seeing that the water/weight from it will be the first thing to go when u stop taking it. i like to think of it as fake impressions. thats why i've never used it :P. T bol on the other hand is a slightly weaker compound, but you get to keep the majority of the gains you make with it over d bol. it just depends on if you want to make better gains, or get a little stronger basically. dont get too much more complicated than that though for a first cycle. good luck buddy.

        MrBig - im not trying to disrespect you or anything. you are a very valuable asset to this board. i just dont like d bol characteristics.

          Okay, thanks for the input. I will order the Anastrozole, but won't take it unless I notice some sides. Other than that, everything else should be good? I am not trying to put on a lot of bulk quick. I just want to add some strength and size, and do it right.

              Thanks, a gym friend who recommended NAPS to me , told me I should run VAR at 40mg a day for the first 6 weeks on top of the test. I told him, that everyone recommends a test only for a first cycle.

                As its already been said really no need to run the arimidex unless/until you notice sides or start getting too puffy. Some people are more prone to sides than others, being your first cycle you'll just have to see how your body reacts to the Test. If you do start noticing gyno, too much water retention see if .5mg EOD clears it up before going to 1mg EOD or .5 ED, for me the minimal amount u can use to clear up your sides is always best because if you have joint problems (like me) it can leave you feeling the tin man with no oil very quickly. You're running the test at a very reasonable dose and should see good results for a first cycle. Nice to see a beginner who isnt looking to throw the whole kitchen sink into their FIRST cycle. I'd run both the nolvadex and clomid because they work in different ways to achieve a similar results so its technically not redundant to run both as your attacking from two different angles so to speak. Personally I'd only run the clomid for 2 weeks and the nolvadex for 4. Try 100mg ED on the clomid week 1 and the drop to 50mg ED week 2, I've ran for 2 weeks and 4 and not noticed much diffference at this dosage just clomid tends to make most people emotional and moody so for me the less time on the better.

                  You can run var,its VERY mild .. run it at the end though.. i like it as a finisher more then as a jumper..just a personal preference.
