Signing for your package

I have to go to the USPS to sign and pick up my package!! Is this normal?

do a search for "sign for package" their r a few threads.
here is 1 post " They will leave you a post card, and you have to go to the post office to pick it up. No worries, if you make it through Customs you a good to go. Hope this helps, i pick up at the post office everytime "

Went there this morning. picked up my goodies, no problems. This is thrid time within 6months. Allot of people in and out picking packages up. I don't think they're PI's and could care less who I am and what im getting

Yes it is normal when nobody is home to sign for it.
