Sheriff's Office: Couple arrested for selling steroids in Redding

Two Redding residents have been arrested on suspicion of drug sales after a probation search turned up steroids, methadone, hydrocodone and methamphetamine.
On Wednesday, the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office AB109 Team along with Shasta County Probation searched the Redding home of 29-year-old Jacob Risk and his girlfriend, 27-year-old Megan Crain.
During a search of the couple’s bedroom authorities found more than 1,400 anabolic steroids capsules, methadone and hydrocodone pills, methamphetamine and packaging materials for all of the drugs.
Officials say they also found around $6,000 near the drugs, but neither Risk nor Crain was employed.
Both were arrested and booked into the Shasta County Jail.
