The 12 yr old little league team from my town only needed 2 more wins to make it to williamsport Pa for the little league world series. They lost there last game 4 to 3 on a nailbiter to Kentucky which they beat to stay alive days earlier. To top it off they had to beat them by 9 to stay in tournament and did it These kids were underdogs every step of the way. Always came back late in the game. My hats off to these kids. Last 3yrs they finished 3rd in state. This time they nearly took it all the way to williamsport. They got to play live on espn2 today. Hats off to these 12 youngsters it was a blast to watch them dominate all year. Sad to watch them fall short. Hats off to Kentucky them boys earned there win.
