The secret history of Coca-Cola, coca leaves and cocaine

In the Andes for thousands of years Cola Leaves are chewed and consumed. They are rich in nutrients, they alleviate problems with breathing and digestion and are a natural painkiller.

Discover the secret history of Coca-Cola, coca leaves and cocaine.

Both the native tradition of scientific studies show that coca leaves in their natural form completely safe and not addictive. In order to produce cocaine, the leaves are processed and toxic chemicals added. Therefore, more and more coca products on the market in the countries around the Andes.

In the United States is still an aggressive policy of destroying, what governments in South America allows to spray toxic chemicals over the Andes to destructi the medicinal crop. Under U.S. law it is illegal to possess or import coca leaves, unless you’re the called Coca-Cola company. To preserve the traditional taste of the best selling beverage, the Coaca Cola company, a long time ago, persuaded the U.S. government to make an exception.

Coca-Cola originally used cocaine in her formula. This came to an end in 1903 but the name remained. "Coca" in Coca-Cola comes from the coca plant and 'Kola' comes from the kola nut who also flavor its beverage.

    The secret history of Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola is the only U.S. corporation that has the right to legally import coca leaves. This goes through a processing plant known as Stepan Company. In 1922, the import of cocaine into the U.S. was banned after introduction of the Jones-Miller Act, but Coca-Cola (and its laboratory) were an exception to the rule. This exception was secret until The New York Times back in the eighties revealed the shocking truth.

100 tons of cocaine ingredients per year

Each year, Stepan Company imports about 100 tons of coca leaves. They became a 'special permission' from the DEA. Keep the total fraud around the current “war on drugs "in mind and how young Americans sometimes serve ten years in prison for drug possession while at the same time one of the largest corporations in the U.S. import leaves used to make cocaine.

But where does the white powder go when Coca-Cola beverages are not flavored with it ? It appears that the cocaine is sold to Mallinckrodt Incorporated in St. Louis, Missouri.

Mallinckrodt does not only receive the cocaine from Coca-Cola but also imports opium from India. Moreover, the company buys THC from cannabis that is grown in the U.S.. So if you're a mighty corporation, you may import as much cocaine as you want while you also can buy opium and cannabis.

More than a quarter ton 'medicated' cocaine?

One might wonder where all the cocaine and opium are going after the receipt is taken at Mallinckrodt. The official explanation is that it is used for "medicinal purposes".

From 100 tons of coca leaves, one can obtain about 333 kilograms of cocaine. It is difficult to imagine how 333 pounds of cocaine is used for medicinal purposes. How and where are 333,000 grams of cocaine used for medicinal purposes in the U.S.? Has a doctor ever prescribed cocaine? Consequently, three options remain on.

Mallinckrodt saves huge amounts of cocaine.
Mallinckrodt destroys large quantities of cocaine.
Large quantities of cocaine "are lost" at Mallinckrodt and go to such politicians, astronauts and DEA agents.

Big Pharma has been manufacturing cocaine for a long time

At the time of the transition to the 20th century many giants in the pharmaceutical produced cocaine. These included the companies Parke, Davis, Merck and Squibb.

Merck, the current manufacturer of Gardasil vaccines, dominated the cocaine market, so we can read in the book of Andean cocaine: the making of a global drug by Paul Gootenberg. It shows that the producers of medicines are not the people who care about what they sell, as long as they make a profit.

The GP is the drug dealer and the pharmaceutical industry, the drug laboratory.
