hey man that's a nice setup. Had one similar to that years ago. The only drawback I see is in the front, if you were to use free weights for bench press and not the smith machine. You might need shorter supports to set the bar on. If you were lifting heavy that would hard to lift the weight off of those long supports.

The supports adjust

yeah I know they adjust up or down. I was talking about the lenght of the supports.

If you can buy an extra set of supports from the manufacturer, you could cut the supports shorter and weld a stopper on the front of the support so the bar wouldn't roll off on you. Just a thought, but that is a great setup.
