  • Rest and GROW!

    It had been awhile since I took a break from training so I decided to take a week off. Started up again the other day and strength and size has noticably increased. This is just a remainder to everyone that rest and breaks are very important.

    The key...... I continued to eat cleanly and maintained my protein intake. Don't be afraid to stop every once in a while and let your body grow - just don't forget to eat.

    i know what you mean man, its just horrible when you dont get to the gym!!

        With out a doubt u have to rest not only do u grow from it but when u go back u so rested up u have lots of strength at least for me its that way after working out like a beast ur entire body fatigues its almost like ur body recharges ! Time away from gym is def a good thing

          yea if u dont do this every 8-10 weeks it has been said u could get sick alot easier .. this has been brought up here in the past .. just recanting it!

              I haven't stopped for two years now, but i'm going to take a week break on Christmas. I feel strange to think about stopping but in the other hand i'm starting to feel burn'd out.

                Yeah I always had a hard time taking time off. I found the 2 on 1 off to be solid, en a week off every 90 days, except when running long cycles.
