Alright I'm going to try to post some pic's of my basement gym, not sure if this will work.

I have just over 700lbs of free weights, dumbbells from 5 - 45lbs. The cage system is a Marcy 4100 I bought for $350 used, normally $700 - $800, a pullup, ab and dip stand. The black floor mate we purchased from a YMCA for like $75, they were going to throw it out, it was dirty but clean up real nice.

I bouhgt everything used, I'd say I have about $800 to a $1000 invested thats it. Got everything off craigslist real cheap.

very cool. i'm jealous! i have a new house with an empty finished basement. i've got all sorts of ideas running around my head. now it's just a matter of getting some $$ together to do it. i think i would like to check out those selectorized DB's. i dont train chest with a bar, so i need pretty heavy DBs on hand, but they get so expensive when you're buying them 1 set at a time...not to mention the space a full set takes up.

Yeah I hear ya sam, a guy that I purchased some of my stuff from had the same DB set that I have he was selling it for $150 rack and all. If I had the time I would have bought that set to and just resold it for more $$$. The thing is, at lest from where I'm from people will buy equipment like that, us it for a couple of weeks and then never again, so they sell it real cheap just to get rid of it. Thats how I was able to get mine for little $$$, just have to keep looking you'll find it!!!

SWEEEEEETT!!!! I always got the best gains at home..no messin around, just rippin it up from spot to spot. Plus blastin music as loud as u want, no toolbags to get in your way. Now u need to print out some of the eyecandy pics and plaster them all over the walls and your g2g
