  • Tendinitis In My Elbow

    Hey Guy's,
I'm coming off my cycle and I started to get tendinitis in my left elbow REALLY bad, it's keeping me from doing almost every upper body exercise. Has anyone ever had this happen when coming off your cycle and if you did, what did you do to get through it?

I did. I forgot how much strength and endurance you lose when coming off a cycle. Trained too long one day on bis and tris and bam it hit me out of no where. I had voltaren gel on hand from a previous doctor visit. With that and couple days off of upper body. Just training legs. It healed quickly (3 days) and never came back. The gel works wonders.
Muscles are made in the kitchen, not in the gym. Eat big to get big.

I had tendinitis in my elbow also. I had to do extensive warmups before I could exercise. I took some advice from a guy on the Musc. Dev. site and mixed aspirin with DMSO and within 2 weeks it had almost healed. He ground the aspirin down to a fine powder before he mixed it. DMSO is sometimes called horse liniment. It has been used for decades to heal tendon strains. It is available in most health food stores.

I've gotta look for that stuff myself. I have a wicked tennis elbow going on and had made a Dr's appt for Monday because its getting to where I can't sleep unless I take something for it.

I went through the same thing coming off cycle. It was so bad i couldnt lift a glass of water with my left hand. I was also playing a lot of softball at the time. It took about 2 months to heal. I was on anti-inflammatories and wore a elbow band. It sucks. every time i think i feel something in my elbow, i slow down. its changed my workouts

Dude, I'm 5 weeks off now and I got the same fuckin thing BAAAAAD!!!!! My left elbow also. It's so bad I can't even press a towel to my face to dry water from it. It starts to feel like it's getting better then a couple days later it hurts something fierce. I gotta try that stuff. I'm to the point of contemplating cortisone shots.

Saw a post on another site about Voltaren gel for tendonitus. It is supposed to be a prescription drug, but I did a search and found it online. No script required. I am going to give that a try.
