  • Trademark and Domain Name Registration. Where to do it in Los Angeles?

Hi, I was hoping to get some advice on a domain name. I don't want to name the website in question, but I hope I can explain it well enough with a fictional example!
I currently have a website that sells furniture. The site is called furniture with the us domain. I want to get the same domain in Germany, but I found the same site with the domain com, which has the letter “R” next to the name in its logo. I have no idea what I can/can't do when it comes to registered names, what is covered by the trademark and does it apply in different countries?

If you were to find a suitable trademark, it would not necessarily be a fatal obstacle to registering your domain name. An existing trademark can be only one of the grounds for filing an opposition with the Dispute Resolution Service, as can similarity to another company or an existing domain name. You can do this yourself, but the easiest way is to hire a law firm. Just for fun, there is one in Los Angeles, https://techandmedialaw.com/ where you can consult with attorney David Nima Sharifi, Esq. I think it's worth consulting with professionals.
