If QuickBooks won’t open, restart your computer and try again. Right-click the QuickBooks icon and select Run as Administrator. Check if the company file is corrupted by trying a different or new file. If you can open QuickBooks, use the File Doctor tool from the QuickBooks Tool Hub to repair the file. Rename the QBInstance.dat file in C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Intuit\QuickBo oks, then try opening QuickBooks. You can also repair QuickBooks via Control Panel > Programs and Features. If the issue persists, reinstall QuickBooks and restore your backup.
