Hi, I'm doing homework with my son right now and we have a question that deals with natural disasters. We need to think back to one of the recent LA storms and we haven't lived here that long. Can you give me a hint?

Hi, if you moved to LA about six months ago, you're lucky you didn't see this horror. We had 10 inches of rain, which is half the normal rainfall for the year, the river overflowed its banks, there were deaths and injuries, many homes destroyed. We were lucky, the house was intact but flooded. We had to call FastFix who know how to make flood damage restoration Los Angeles. Thankfully the house was insured and we were able to rebuild almost everything from scratch. This flood happened in February this year and was one of the top 3 worst storms since the 1870's.
