The Linksys extender has a WPS feature built in that eliminates the need to go to your device's setup portal. In reality, only the WPS buttons on the extender and router will need to be pressed and used for your Linksys re6700 setup. Configuring your extender doesn't require you to go through any difficult tasks or steps. Choose this Linksys re6700 setup procedure if your current router has the same WPS button which must be compatible too. Select the closest power plug and place the extender in the optimal area, ideally closer to the current router.
