    Heres another good one.....

    Ingredients

-1/2 cup Dannon Light & Fit Vanilla Yogurt
-1/2-3/4 cup coffee (preferably cooled first); adjust this up or down to reach your desired consistency.
-1/4 Scoop Cookies and Cream (or Chocolate) whey protein powder; adjuste this up or down for your protein needs
    -splenda to taste
    -ice cubes (if desired)

    Directions
    1. Mix the yogurt, coffee, and protein powder and stir (or shake) until blended.
    2. Add splenda to reach desired sweetness
    3. Add ice cubes and enjoy!

I only used 1/4 scoop of protein powder since this was just a mid afternoon snack...but you could easily do 1/2 scoop which would make this treat 96 calories and 17 g of protein!

    And another...........Blended Coffee Smoothie

    Ingredients

    1 cup almond milk
    1/2 cup brewed coffee
    1 banana
    1 scoop choclate protein powder
    4-5 ice cubes

    Directions

Place water, coffee, banana protein powder, banana and 4-5 ice cubes into a Blender, or good powerful blender until smooth and creamy. Add additional ice to thicken and a sprinkle of fresh coffee grounds, if desired. Pour into a glass and savour!

      MINT-CHOC FRUIT COFFEE

      Drink Recipe:

      1 cup skimmed milk
½ cup mixed fresh or frozen fruits
      1 tsp instant coffee
      1 drop of peppermint extract
      1 scoop chocolate protein powder
      ice cubes

      About the Homemade Shake:

As with all the protein drink recipes that use coffee as an ingredient, this protein drink is great for morning consumption. Not only does it have caffeine to wake you up but the fresh fruit will pack the drink with plenty of natural energy to give you the get-up-and-go you need to start your day. You might also consider this as a pre-workout shake as it shouldn't be so sickening (last thing you want is to be doing your last set of decline bench press with your shake 'repeating' on you). You could throw in a banana for some long-lasting energy.

If you aren't such a big fan of mint then why not try replacing the peppermint extract with some different flavoring. You could try almond extract, vanilla extract, cinnamon sugar, or any other flavorings for sale in you supermarket's baking section.

        TROPICAL FRUIT COFFEE SMOOTHIE

        Ingredients:

        NO PROTEIN SUPPLEMENTS REQUIRED
        1 cup mass milk
        ½ cup chopped mango
        2 tsp instant coffee
        ½ cup pineapple chunks
1 scoop fat-free vanilla ice cream
coconut extract (or coconut milk or desiccated coconut)
        1 tbsp honey
        ice cubes

More Details for this Supplement-free Protein Drink:

This is a great shake to kick off the day with. It is packed with energy because it has a lot of fruit in it and the instant coffee also provides an added 'wake up' quality. There are no whey protein supplement powders in this recipe - the protein in this shake comes from the 'Mass Milk' (a cheap homemade alternative to expensive commercial protein supplements) and the fat-free ice cream. you could also use coconut milk instead of extract for a little more protein although it would provide only a minor difference.

This is a good shake if you are trying to gain mass - you could exchange the fat free ice-cream for regular ice cream for even more mass if you wanted. If you are on a weight loss diet, you might think about using skimmed milk instead of the mass milk but also adding whey protein powder to cover the loss in protein. You might also drop the ice cream.

          Frappacino Shake

          Ingredients:

          1 cup of fat-free milk
1 tablespoon of instant coffee (you can use de-caffeinated coffee at night time)
2 - 3 tablespoons of sugar-free chocolate syrup for a more chocolatey shake
You can try a little cinnamon sugar and vanilla flavoring if you like
          1 scoop chocolate protein powder
          ice cubes

          Shake Recipe Information:

Plenty of people get up in the morning and the first thing they do is reach for the coffee pot. If you are trying to gain lean muscle (or if you are on a protein diet to lose weight) then one of the first things you reach for may be a protein shake. Well, here's a thought, why not combine the two?

This frappacino protein shake is very quick to make which makes it another perfect bodybuilding / weight-loss drink for the morning when you are in a rush to leave for work, college or wherever. You can even make this smoothie in a shaker as all the ingredients mix easily. If you have time however, use a blender as your shake will come out thicker and 'fluffier' if that is what you like.

            Moccaccino

            Recipe Ingredients

1 cup cooled down cocoa (1 cup water mixed with 2 tsp cocoa powder)
            ½ cup full cream
1 tsp instant coffee or espresso powder (if you can take the stronger taste)
honey to taste (some people might prefer an alternative sweetener)
            ½ tsp vanilla essence
            1 scoop chocolate protein powder
            ice cubes

            TIP:
I told a friend to make the cocoa first by heating the water and cocoa powder in a pan until it just begins to boil. He told me if you do this, it is important to let the cocoa cool down before blending with the protein powder otherwise the hot cocoa will destroy the protein quality of your added supplement.

            About the Moccaccino Protein Drink:

A Moccaccino is typically a mixture of espresso, chocolate, and steamed milk. In this recipe it suggests using cocoa but you could use 1 cup of skimmed (fat-free) milk with chocolate syrup to taste.

Note this recipe include half a cup of full cream so if you are on a strict weight-loss diet then you probably will want to omit this ingredient.
