Brothers of Iron, I need some suggestions for preparing a bunch of meat in advance.

In three weeks I'm going to start an 18 week "lean" bulk; drol, test, eq, and mast. When I say lean, I mean I'm going to try and keep my diet extremely healthy. Last bulk I did I honestly ate like crap, and put on a lot of good weight, but put on just as much fat too.

Typically my wife and I cook our protein on Sunday for the upcoming week. Right now (I'm cutting), I'm really only preparing some turkey and beef burgers for my lunch throughout the week. But since I'm going to triple my calorie intake, Ineed to add some more meat. I've read a few things like lining a casserole dish with chicken breasts, dumping a bottle of light french dressing on it, and sticking it in the oven for a half hour. Do you guys have any other suggestions like this? Bonus points if it's not bland oven cooked meat!!

    Thanks in advance.

I buy 10 to 15 pounds of chicken "Breast Meat". I take my breast and cut them into 2 fillet and soak it in dressing or marinade. Your choice of flavor just watch the salt content. Then after I let it sit for a day maybe 2 I grill them or bake them. Watch that you just brown them and not kill them. Then I take sandwich bags and put 2 breast
per bag and freeze them. Its a little work that take about an hour to do but I can eat them hot or cold and on the go. That with 2 cups brown rice and your got a good
700 calories in one meal. When I was bulking I did that twice a day for 1400 Calories. Get ya some Texas Pete and make it hot

I'm going to give that a try TB, thank you! I'll probably just layer chicken in a glass casserole dish and put some dressing on it, cover it, and let it sit for a day then bake it. I like to bake chicken, always seems to keep it more juicy in the middle. I was also thinking of making a ton of brown rice while I'm making the chicken, then partitioning off the rice and chicken in tupperware and freezing them.

Do you usually just pull your chicken out of the freezer a day before you eat it?

The chicken I hit up in the micro wave for 2 minuets or if I'm going to pack for the day I will pull it from the freezer the night before and stick it in the fridge
        in Tupperware meal tray.

The rice is simple.. Check this out--- http://www.minuterice.com/en-us/prod.../Steamers.aspx

Cost is $1.28 a bag.. My kids laugh when I wipe out the local freezer section of brown rice. If there's 30 bags, There mine
Takes 4 minuets in a microwave. There quick and easy to make and worth the convenience.

I do something similar but I buy chick thighs - cheaper, moister but more fat. i suggest getting a rice cooker they r fantastic

          - One thing I do is buy a big roast (usually cheaper than steak or tips) 5-10-15lb, slow cook it in the oven - gets really tender - then either cut it in to portions or leave in fridge where u can snack on it at will.
I do the same with a big ham steak or pork roast for B-fast meats.

if u have xtra dough get eggwhites - https://www.eggwhitesint.com/store.p...on=show_detail - put 6-8 squirts in protein shakes, glass of milk or just drink alone - they r pasteurized so u can drink raw no worries.

I do this, one cup of liquid egg whites and one cup of skim milk and mix it up, gives you 480 calories, 88g protein, 11g carbs and 0g fat

I used to eat boiled egg the only white portion about 6 to 7 and skim milk which provides protein as well as calcium which are beneficial in growth of the muscles as well as bones.

I too have been buying enough boneless skinless chicken breast and cooking it all on Sunday for my meals during the week. Just dish it up and keep them in the fridge. Of course I add a veggi to each along with rice or potatoes or beans. Takes some time but worth it!

With some of these former bodybuilders dying of a heart attack at an early age, I am becoming more concerned about cholesterol intake. These isolate whey protein powders are making more sense. 24 grams in 1 scoop with 0 cholesterol.

Proteins are good enough for health but excess of proteins are bad for health. I refer you to choose Natural proteins that will keep you healthy.
