  • Anyone use ON 2:1:1 Recovery PWO?

    I've been using Optimum Nutrition 2:1:1 recovery which is designed specifically for post workout. Has anyone else tried this? My concern is that I'm bloating over it, but I don't know. Should I ditch these designer PWO shakes, and make my own? Or just straight up drink a 100% whey shake post workout? Thanks for any advice.

    The stuff doesn't look terrible. I prefer raw cane sugar or dextrose over the types of carbs they use in that. Also, one serving is only 17g of protein, which I don't think would make you bloat. As far as if you're only doing protein for post, just grab a tub of Optimum 100% Whey Isolate, and a bag of dextrose, and throw two tablespoons in with two scoops of protein. I think everyone has varied opinions on post workout drinks, but I aim for 60g protein, mainly isolate, and 20g of carbs. Works really well for me.
