  • Lose 48 lbs in 4 months? I'd like some advice.

Howdy! The title sounds a bit crazy, because it is, but I'd like some advice. I'm 17, 6'1 - 6'2, and I need to get down to 240 by June 30th. I started my weight loss this January, where I weighed 330 lbs (yikes right) and since then I've lost 42 lbs and am currently 288. My goal is to join the United States Marines when I turn 18, which is in July, but my recruiter wants me at 240 before July. So far I've toned it down from about 2000 cals/day to right now eating about 1200 cals/day. 140g protein, 40g of fat, and 60g carbs. I've been doing basic weightlifting at home, barbell compound movements for the most part, and dumbbells. I'd also like to start incorporating some cardio, but I really don't know what to do. I live in Alaska and it's snowy outside, and I can't do much besides walks. I don't have a gym in my town nor cardio equipment. I'd just like some advice on how I can ensure my success with dropping so much weight so quickly. Thanks in advance.

I should clarify, I work full time and I'm graduated from high school. Generally I try to eat only 300-400 calories during my shift (9am-5:30pm) then I'll have a larger meal at 5-7pm. It works for me. I'm also being legit when I say 1200 calories, not like those guys that say they eat that then drink a coffee with 800 cals. I track everything using macrofactor.
