  • Need new spinach ideas

    As the title says, I am looking for new ideas on how to eat my spinach. I am soon to be eating it quite often, as part of chicken breast and spinach meals.

    From my understanding, with spinach you can basically cook the nutrition out of it, which limits my list. Any helpful ideas on how people are eating theirs would be appreciated.

    Saute it. Get a 10" saute pan hot, add a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil, throw in sliced garlic, when the garlic browns, put fresh spinach in. Add a pinch of s&p and saute for 30 seconds.

        I remove the stems of the spinach by hand before cooking. Cooked spinach is more nutritious since you will get to enjoy all the nutrients in the which includes Fiber, vitamin K, vitamin C, calcium, magnesium and manganese, B vitamins, vitamin A and so much more. If you cook it lightly and spruce it up with lemon juice and garlic, this shouldn't be too much of a chore. You can use cooked spinach when you make vegetarian lasagna.
