if you want to grow, you have to eat a lot of protein.you can't get to a certain size and stop eating. you have to continue to eat the amount of food that got you to the size you are. and if you grow, you will then have to eat even more to continue growing. it's that simple. thats the "secret". i just read a post by juan diesel morel. he's 274.8 in the off season, looking totally awesome. when someone asked him how much food he eats, this is what he said...
if you want to be big, you have to learn to eat. don't come on the board and complain that you are a hard gainer and can't get bigger than 150lbs at 5 9' unless you have spend 3 years straight eating at least 400grams of protein, 300 carbs and 200gram healthy fat. you have to put the work in guys!
taking in about 700 grams of protein a day sometimes more carbs around 300 mon thru thursday and 1000 Friday, sat and Sunday.. fats are 250 to 300 a day i eat 8 solid meals and right 2 shakes
