Most bodybuilders look down Aspirin, and consider it too weak and mild to be used as a drug to treat the severe pain caused by heavy bodybuilding and powerlifting training. Too mild to effectively treat pain on back, tendons, joints and muscles. Most of them strongly believe you need the harsher means like the for bodybuilders, wrestlers, powerlifters and other iron warriors notorious Nubain. The brand name was discontinued in 2008, but the generic versions are still easy to obtain.

But why would you want to use such an addictive, ruining and dangerous drug, if other over-the-counter (OTC) pain relievers can ease your aches and help you get on with your heavy training. NSAIDs are one of two major types of OTC pain relievers.

The Training Partner (spotter)

Often a good training partner is a good friend, or will become one. I met my last training buddy when I changed gyms, I knew him from a powerlifting team we both competed in. For many years he came to my house with his car to pick me up for our work-outs. When one us of us didn’t feel well or didn’t feel like training heavy, we pushed each other to the limit.

A good training partner (spotter) feels when you need help, and he keeps out when you do not need it. A good training partner knows also about what or how much you can manage, and he knows above all, if you really can no longer lift it, without some help. And a good training partner can deal with the weight with which you train also in an emergency. What does it help, if you do not only have the weight on your chest, but also your spotter?

In waves we see new researches or surveys, on already known terms and conditions. It mostly has a snowball effect, when a study has figures sometimes even fabricated ones, other media start to bring the results and we on our turn discuss those on the discussion bodybuilding boards. Pieces of text like this one, makes us think:

Proviron New Insights

A new blogpost about an old steroid, why? I was researching compounds that influence the libido, directly or with conjunction with other compounds. Than one of my clients told me he also used Proviron with Sustanon as HRT, especially because positively influenced his sex-life and worked well with the Sustanon. Discussing it with another friend that runs a gym and prepares men and woman for contests, he also told me he liked mesteronole (Proviron) very much and used it for diverse reasons but especially in contest preparation.

Dorian Yates

Did he ruin bodybuilding ?

Dorian Yates is a retired professional bodybuilder who won the Mr. Olympia title six consecutive times from 1992 to 1997.

He is most famous for being the first Mr. Olympia to reach more than 250 lbs lean contest bodyweight with super low body fat. This happened in 1993 when Yates was at his best. Dorian was an outsider, first of all he came from Birmingham UK far away from Venice Beach, CA epicenter that was producing most of the top bodybuilders at that time. He remains the only athlete not based in America to have won Mr. Olympia. At his competitive peak, Dorian Yates weighed 265lbs and boasted 21-inch arms, a 58-inch chest, legs with a circumference of 30 inches and body fat of just three per cent. The average man has an acceptable body-fat percentage of 15-20 and 13-inch arms.

Cholesterol Lies

People who are not directly involved in the research of drugs, or production and sale thereof, have no idea of all malpractices and even all criminal practices that are used. The same medical pseudoscience wants us, bodybuilders, to believe how incredibly dangerous we are engaged by using anabolic steroids. In particular, the shift of the "good" HDL to the "bad" LDL would clog our arteries and cause a premature death. The truth however is different.

Shrinking package

I want to discuss our package. Countless articles and threads on the forums are devoted to our manhood. For most of us our tools are directly connected with our feeling of being a “Real man.” Many outside influences determine the size of our package, you can walk into an ice-cold lake as a proud man and walk out, hung like a 12 year old, right? Also the use of many drugs, and bodybuilding practices like dieting, can shrink our package.

Its actually quite logic that if we use means that are bad for our organs, it makes a difference how long we do that and at which dose. A long heavy dosed cycle should do more harm than some short light cycles. We also know that injectable roids are safer than orals. And some orals, like Oxymetholone, are more hepatotoxic than others. The same is true for injectables, most of us know that the trenbolones do more harm than the testosterones. But how much harm will they do? I made a comparison for you with two case studies. One from a young bodybuilder on a low cycle and one from a professional bodybuilder with a long and heavy cycle.

I first heard of this protocol when I met with a guy that I coached for a while. He stuffed himself twice a day with Brinta, to the point of vomiting. He ignored the gagging and just continued. But it seemed to work since he was Dutch champion.

Oxandrolone Again

You will probably think, why another post about oxandrolone again? One would think that by now everything would be written about this drug. Just like I did in 2015. Not so. Since Oxandrolone is still in use and more and more new applications are tried, also new studies are still published. And because I'm also intrigued by this drug, I tried a less-used application on some older men who want to try this drug as HRT. And not just to restore their hormone levels of QOL (quality of life) but also as a restoration of youthful dynamism, stamina and libido. But also to see if it causes loss of fat mass, and especially of visceral fat. Because this is a long-term in vivo experiment, I will later elaborate with new posts.
