  • Nailing down my intake for carb rotating.

    Hello JM
I've seen a few different ways to rotate carbs weekly. I know everyone is different and you have to experiment. The one thing I was hoping to get some help with is nailing down my maros intake. I am 36 and my lean mass is about 190/200lbs. I have been experimenting with carbs and protein and feel good at about 200-225 ge protein, and 170-180 gr carb. I eat super clean so I don't really keep track of my fats, cause I know they are good fats and pretty low. I've been keeping my calorie intake 2900-3300 a day. I eat 5-7 times a day including my post workout shake (cell tech and protein). I have always had a super hard time dropping weight and the only time I've ever gotten really lean, under 10%, I feel like it's been more due to cardio and training than diet. I've just never been able to get my diet spot on. And that's not for lack of effort, just never gotten the results from diet alone. I am not on any gear right now but plan to start 500mg test e in a month or so depending on diet results.

Thank you in advance for your time and advise.

I always drop carbs low as hell and have refeeds 2-3 times a week when cutting. Ie on back day or legs I'll have the majority of weekly carbs those days. And I'll fast half of a rest day usually Sunday. That's when I get really shredded but that works for me mayb u should try to eliminate carbs and go that route. It's not so great for gaining size but I burn fat the best with the least amount of carbs I eat and have fewer calories it works the best for me also when getting shredded and train hard on low calories my appetite is kept under control better slipping into ketosis most likely alot of times. Now i used to try to do straight keto but I can't have that much fat it just gross so I just drop carbs from meals per week as I lose or as needed till I'm not having many but a few days a week or as I see needed for energy or extra glycogen storage for repair or what have u. My protein is always well over 300 grams as well I have dropped it to around 250 and felt it wasn't enough. Hope it helps some
