UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler was voted the Fighter of the Year at the 2014 World MMA Awards recently.
Lawler became the champion when he defeated Johny Hendricks last year. He also scored wins over Jake Ellenberger and Matt Brown.
The Female Fighter of the Year was Ronda Rousey, while Conor McGregor earned International Fighter of the Year.
