Edema - swelling in ankles and feet

Can a fairly strong cycle cause edema? My feet and ankles are swelling - Dr is running lab work and they ran an ultrasound on my legs to check for blood clots - this came back negative; waiting on lab results.

I have done double digit cycles without ever experiencing this. The paperwork the Doctor's office gave me shows that steroids can cause edema.
