Amazon's streaming service has recently undergone significant change, from changing names to investing billions into Prime Video as they hope to compete with Netflix and HBO services.
Netflix boasts a vast library of movies and television shows available for streaming, focusing on exclusives and originals that are in high demand. However, it also provides other features to make its service even more competitive: on-demand titles available instantly to view offline, download content to view later offline viewing capabilities as well as watching live sports events.
Prime Video offers not only its own content but also a selection of premium channels such as Showtime, Starz and Acorn TV - some can be added for an additional charge while many more are available to buy or rent independently. A subset of titles are even included free with your subscription; just look out for their listings with blue banners to spot these gems!
