The ' offensive line may already be a problem.Much has been Pete Maravich Jersey made this offseason about heading into training camp. The Ravens lost three veteran starters along the offensive line and didn't add any veterans to replace them.Baltimore did draft tackle Roger Rosengarten in the second round and center Nick Samac in the seventh round, but rookies are always unknowns.Whether because of injuries or a lack of proven depth, training camp hasn't done much to inspire confidence that this new, re-tooled unit will be ready to replicate last season's succe s.There are a lot of unproven players vying for starting spots.Andrew Vorhees, a seventh-round pick who mi sed his rookie year with a torn ACL, looks like the favorite to start at left guard. He's made , but still has not played a real Danilo Gallinari Jersey NFL snap yet.Rosengarten is in the mix to start at left tackle, but is currently listed behind Patrick Mekari, a sixth-year Swi s Army knife lineman who has played well, albeit sparingly in the past.Daniel Faalele, a ma sive, 6-foot-8, fourth-round pick in 2022, is being given the opportunity to win the starting right guard job. It's a new position for Faalele, who entered the league as a tackle. that the Ravens are "making a major leap of faith" in giving Faalele this opportunity.Meanwhile, Pro Bowl center Tyler Linderbaum has mi sed the past week of camp while dealing with a "soft ti sue" injury. Head coach John Harbaugh suggested that Ben Cleveland will replace Linderbaum for about the next two weeks. It's entirely po sible that Linderbaum is healthy for the start of the regular season, though Harbaugh said they wont rush him back. Cleveland, a 2021 third-round pick, was projected to start at right guard and now finds himself playing a new position. He's played sparingly so far through three seasons. Zrebiec writes that Cleveland hasnt quite seemed to gain the coaching staffs trust Trae Young Jersey .Currently, the only healthy starter from last year is Ronnie Stanley, the tackle who is trying to regain his All Pro status of five years ago.Heading into the , Harbaugh said he doesn't know exactly who will be on the offensive line. Harbaugh has previously said he hoped to have the offensive line figured out by preseason, though he said it wasn't a big deal if not clearly, the Ravens will be experimenting for a while.Still, it all adds up an unusual amount of uncertainty for a team with Super Bowl hopes. Obviously, the Ravens had faith that young players could fill in for the veterans who left in the offseason. But a team with Lamar Jackson Charlie Brown Jr. Jersey and Derrick Henry at the core of its offense needs solid protection. There may be signs that this group isn't ready to do that. Harbaugh, while praising linebacker Odafe Oweh earlier in training camp, said Oweh had . The Ravens have to hope that isnt a sign of what's to come when they play real games against real opponents. And it doesn't look like the Ravens will find . As Zrebiec noted, there aren't many impactful offensive linemen hanging around in free agency. The Ravens had met with Connor Williams this week, but Williams instead signed with the Seattle Seahawks.Baltimore has been active in adding unsigned veterans during training camp, and they may still look at other free agent linemen. And, of course, they could look to trades if it becomes obvious that they need upgrades. Now, its also worth stating that in a few weeks, these concerns could look minor. Linderbaum could return healthy. Vorhees and Rosengarten could be impactful rookies. Faalele could adapt to guard quicker than expected. The Ravens might not have an elite line, but they could settle for average.Still, four weeks out Evan Turner Jersey from kicking off the NFL season, the offensive line is shaping up to be an i sue for a team that hopes to win it all.
